My blue heeler blood have the time of her life. She lovvvvves camping and going on hikes in the winter. Great source of body heat too on cold nights. Best foot warmer on earth lol😂

Made me miss my shepherd and heeler. My wolfpack. They've both passed but we had some grand adventures. Like my wifes first backpacking trip at 10,500ft It was the end of May and it snowed on us for 6 straight days and nights. I kept her warm and dry and even fed her fresh trout. I built a shelter over our tent and kicked old stumps out of the ground to keep the fire cranking the whole time. Mine and my dogs finest moment. The wife was and wasnt impressed. Lol

The forest is like ours in the Polar Urals. The shelter of the branches is correct. We make a "nodya" out of thick logs. Two or three thick logs laid vertically and burning birch bark is laid between the logs. Such a vertical bonfire burns for 1.5 - 2 hours and greatly warms the shelter. Good luck, buddy.

Im just enjoying watching the dog try to get youbto play lol. I have a 9yo texas heeler that loves going camping. Gotta really be careful tho when im swinging an axe or machette cause she has a tendency of magically popping up in sketchy places. We have an off grid cabin out by galveston bay thats is boat access only and thats her favorite place in the world. Best foot warmers on the planet on those cold nights as well
