Same for me, love the storyline and lore of 40k but unfortunately don't have the time to fully commit to the tabletop game. Have jumped into the Space Marine II video game full force though and am loving it!!

And just imagine, assuming the 40k earth had at least a similar history to ours - The USA is what began the first age of human expansion, that first step on the moon means a whole lot more in 40k than it does here.

I suggest the use of the track Memory from the Stella Glow OST. It's here in youtube, and since the guys that made the game went bankrupt, I doubt someone could flag any video using it. It fits perfectly with the Dark Age of Technology and the Age of Strife.

The Mandeville Points are where gravity is sufficiently "smooth" to allow a warp drive to breach real space. See: wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Mandeville_Point The `fandom.com` wiki tends to editorialize & get a lot of small details wrong. Please don't let this discourage you, the video quality, and narration is excellent.

No, the time period of the Age of Terra ended in the 15th Millennium. The image is simply a representation of the lunar exploration that marked the start of the exploratory efforts throughout the entirety of the Age of Terra and then moved on to Mars, and beyond.
