In the first part of the cutscene with all the ultramarines, you can see the enemy they are figuring are Tzeentch Daemons, not Tyranids

@@GeorgeEstregan828 well he deserved it, dude is the literal captain of a company yet he chose to fight a whole entire war alone with no reinforcements, but somehow had it from another whole chapter, the Blood Angels, instead of his own. I get it, it’s much cheaper to go that generic game cliche route back then, but now I would hope to see at the very least a squad of other Ultramarines in the game, and no the three dudes don’t count because they’re there to fill that generic protagonist’s trio cliche.

I'm just glad they did 1 delay (Emperor willing only 1) for a year vs Cyberpunk which did like 4 or 5 over the course of a year. 1 long one brings me more hope than having 2 or more.

Hopefully if this game is successful, the developers will consider more games in the Warhammer universe. I would love to see a game about the Horus Heresy, different playable Space Marine chapters, Sisters of Battle, different enemy factions, etc.

I always felt like the Star Wars Battlefront 2 format would work well with 40k Most players are basic ground troops, getting points lets you play more specialized roles, whereas players that get the highest points in a match get to play as a special hero unit that is op if they play right. Imagine being in a gunfight as Guardsmen against Genestealer Cultists when suddenly a player Space Marine sprints past you and wrecks havoc.

I really missed Mark Strong as Captain Titus. Clive Standen is not bad at all. But Mark Strong really brings aout the calm collective but strong voice suited for an Ultramarine.

The Machine God blesses us with this tactical simulation in 10 Terran months… good on the engineers for polishing the simuoator before it is lended to the aspirants. We do not want to end up like the sons of Caliban. (Translation: I’m bummed that it’s coming out in 10 months… but good on the developers to do more polishing to the game before they release it. Don’t want to end up like Deathwing…)

It’s odd why they chose the thousand sons as the alternate enemy in the game. Both ultramarines and thousand sons have similar colours. They could have picked the black legion, or word bearers as those have more of a colour contrast and would be easier to read on a screen as an enemy.

I think because in the last game you had black legion space marines, khornate demons and chaos cultists, so maybe theyre tryting to put in something you dont see often from chaos lile the thousands sins, but yeah it is an odd choice

I think "colour schemes" dont really matter. As there arent gonna be many NPC-Space Marines and if you play coop with people theres most likely gonna be outliners or indicators. Also, ultramarines dont have giant egyptian-style headdresses and ornaments

in the small scene at 0:08 there are enemies with shields i compared those shields with ones of so called Tzaangor's and the look kinda fitting so i would say that Tzeentch as an enemie is indeed confirmed ... however it's a rendered cutscene so a bit of scepticism is still advised and at 0:14 i believe the player wears a Phobos Armor ( meant for stealth missions)
