Something is wrong with the PC performance stats. How can a slower GPU have a lower utlization than the high end one, but still a much lower framerate, it makes no sense. Also, the CPU usage only seems correct on the 4080 Version of the graph, the others all report 6 % usage at max, which clearly isn't true.

The graphic difference between PC and consoles at the beginning of the generation was almost non-existent, but little by little it becomes very palpable again. At least in this game, on PC it looks outrageous.

I also noticed that on PS5 Performance Mode there is several shadow/light flickering in the distance, as well as mid-range. The performance dips are several on PS5. At some points PS5 was at 44fps while XSX did hold 55.. Might have to cancel PS5 pre-order and get XSX version.. :D

Weird to see so many Series S games target 1440p, even if they are rendering below, there’s a GPU and memory cost from reconstructing up to 1440p compared to the more commonplace 1080p. Why is the CPU usage so low on anything but the 4080? 4080 is at 50% usage, while the other cards are not even pushing double digits. Certainly a bug with the OSD, no? The 4080 seems to be 38% faster than the 4070 Ti Super, it's normally only 20% or so.

Damn the PS5 Performance mode doesn't look good. Most of the time the frame rate is below the VRR range on the PS5. If it was a bit better and wouldn't drop below 48 but preferably 50 then it wouldn't be such a problem, if you have a VRR compatible display of course.

So either this hasnt got a few things like the space marine 2 driver / recording software is lowering performance or something OR the devs lied. Pls dont be the latter its way too common. The cpu usage in this video is very weird thou 30% of the GPU isn’t being used unlike the 4080 benchmark so whatever cpu is in that machine must be the cause.

@iznax9 I'm sure it does. I have mine preordered for Series X. Happy to see it looks ever so slightly better on S/X. My only hang up was the (possible) PS5 Pro down the line and if I shoulda gotten it on ps5 for the ugrade down the line. Usually 30fps looks like garbage these days but I've been playing Gotham Knights cuz it came to Gamepass and it's actually quite enjoyable. But its capped at 30fps but it has an option to smooth movements which almost feels like 40fps. That and Spiderman 2 on 40fps is awesome. Made me a big fan of that middle ground. Just hoping it comes to this game down the line

If the base resolution is higher which it tends to be on mid/high end you really can’t tell it’s upscaling but it just depends on your hardware like everything. Frame gen can be good on some. Necessary with some crazy difficult games to run like Pandora and aw2 playing upscaled to 4K or unobtanium mode on Pandora. Would be great tho if everything was stable 100% at native 4K. Just noticed it’s dlss2, dlss 3 is definitely a better but it’s also difficult to see as the screen sizes are smaller to compare all 4 side by side.

@@Spartan117-0 against older versions of dlss it could be but dlss now is way in front. But you can’t beat native dlaa for image quality. I think everything just dependant on the game your playing and hardware you use. You could see better results than me using FSR/TSR. It’s what works best for you. Native to me can’t be beaten but I use dlss with some and I probably just think there no real image difference as the performance is so much smoother compared to native. Even though deep down it’s obvious there will be quality differences.

I suspect that: 1) Xbox fandom consists of most of white people, some black people and some Hispanics (because Xbox is the only Western console) 2) PlayStation fandom consists of most of East Asians, most of Middle Easterners, many Hispanics and many black people and many liberal white people (because PlayStation is one of Asian consoles) So, the console war indirectly portrays the war between Eastern civilization (PS) and Western civilization (Xbox). Yet, those who buy console games are mostly westerners while most of easterners want free games.

Oof console framerate is not a locked 60. Gonna skip unless it's patched. Was hopeful, but this seems to be yet another unoptimized game shoved out the door for $70 ($100 if you want to play it on release day.)

Its amazing what the Series S can do, it is definitely the best option to play games. I can barely see the difference. The only difference is that you cant go 60fps which in the ends is ok I dont need to pay 250 or 300 dollars more for that.

Doesn't seem like it, but I'm not sure. I've only played a bit so far since the framerate in performance mode is atrocious. It does implement adaptive triggers, if you're into that.

En consolas Series X es la mejor versión me parece. Lo mismo sucedió con Starwars outlaws...está sufriendo bastante PS5 en cuanto al Framerate y encima a veces corriendo a resoluciones más bajas. Por algo tienen que lanzar la ps5 Pro...series X se nota que tiene algo de resto aunque no le pongan ganas en optimización se termina imponiendo por fuerza bruta .
