they don't trust because they know what comes of trusting, they are arrogant because they know what comes of being too proud; their perspective of the universe is pretty much unique...except maybe the Dark Eldar. they see the naivety of other races, the foolishness and they know that once they were no different...and that now they must be better than that...for the sake of themselves and the galaxy. Contrary to popular belief the Eldar ARE willing to work with other races, thye have before and will again...but it is hardly their fault the humans are so arrogant and untrusting and xenophobic (i blame the inquisition, i always blame the inquistion). The eldar did try to warn the Humans of the HH...and they didn't listen (thanks Fulgrim...well done for that XD). The Eldar also tried to tell the Tau that their goal was pointless...unifying the galaxy was something the Humans and Eldar had tried...and the Tau would fail too. but the Tau were like "yeah well we'll succeed where you failed then" and the Eldar just called them naive fools (so true XD). the Eldar were seeded into existence to stop the Necron...that was their sole purpose for existing originally...let's just pray they know something the humans don't about those abominable machines.

Aa I recall, the Eldar farseer met with Fulgrim. Fulgrim was already suffering from corruption from the daemon blade and from siding with Horus. Fulgrim chose to attack the Eldar to prevent them from talking to other legions. Idea was to keep Horus's treachery a secret.

Especially with the races we're talking about. The Eldar would gladly sacrifice millions for one of their own. The Tau are extremely expansionist and if you not with them your against them. And even if you join them your completely second rate to the Tau. And as for the Imperium I don't really need to say anything about them. Now don't get me wrong there are members of each of these races who try to make the galaxy slightly brighter but they are far and few.

Farseer Aradrel The day of the final battle is closing in. If we are to survive the evil of this galaxy then we are to unite against the Tyrannids, which are currently an immense threat against all biological life, and Chaos. I have had a long reflexion about how to deal with the tyrannids, and I think I found several solutions that could pitentially save us all from the Great Devourer. Indeed, when cut from the hive mind, tyrannids are mindless and idiotic, attacking eachothers and fighting in an disorganized way, and they can't adapt to foes. So the answer to tyrannid threat is clear to me: Humans with the Pariah gene, mass bred and sent en mass to every planets of the imperium. Those beings are gifted/cursed with the pariah gene, which makes them effectively soulless and a nightmare to any psychic being. The tyrannids link to the hive mind is psychic in nature. A few hundred blanks humans could cut off all links between an hive fleet and their hive mind, and as such the tyrannids would become incredibly easy to destroy. Nanites, capable of resisting tyrannids immune system and eating the tyrannids and replicating from their material, would also help in the overrall destruction of the tyrannid threat. If we allied to the Tau, we could easily developp such nanites with a joint project between the Adeptus mechanicus and the Tau scientific community, with help of the eldar incredible tech. A combination of pariah human followed by an onslaught of replicating, tyrranid-targetting nanite swarm, followed by a bug hunt carried out by a joint force between the massed fleet of the immense imperial navy, and numberless imperial guard, would surely exterminate and negate the tyrannid threat. Moving on to Chaos, Ynnead could essentially massively damage the forces of Chaos by destroying their current major god and freeing eldar souls, allowing a massive attack of joint eldar-imperium forces in the eye of terror. Potentially, the eldar could find a way to revive the Emperor of mankind and his Primarchs, and in doing so, would insure a crushing bictory against chaos and a massive moral boost to the Imperium (altough a civil war would probably break out as the Emperor purge the corrupted mess in the inquisitions and others hierarchies). Both tyranids and Chaos would be taken out of the equation. While piwerful, the necrons are still probably outnumbered heavily by the imperium which could project all of its forces against the tombs worlds. The orks would prove to be both an inconvenient and an advantage to Tau-Imperium-Eldar alliance as, with careful tactics, Orks WAAAGH could be directed against the necrons. I know my plan is unfeasible and too optimistic for such an hopeless galaxy, but it shows how an alliance of the "good" races would benefit all.

I agree with the resurection part of the Primarch (for the Emperor, it will be difficult because of his God nature, and yes I know he hate to be called like this but, well, it is simpler) For the Other Primarch, if we found the bodies of the one who died (Sanguinus and Ferrus Manus) so I hope you keep them in statis somewhere. For those who dissapeared, Ulthwe and Ibreasil ranger can tried to found Leman Russ in the Eyes of Terror, Harlequins, Il-Kaithe, Illic Nightspear and Dark Eldar can seek for Jagathaï in the Webway, Rogal Dorn is probably in the Imperial palace, and we can ask Ynnead for Lion'El jonson (very convenient this new God, too bad he didn't completely born) For Vulkan, I'm pretty sure with the help of Eldar ranger and harlequins, the salamenders will found the remaining artifact. We will only needs a big fleet to destroy Trayzn and steel everythings he keep. There is surely powerfull weapons in there and probably one or two of the missing artifatc. And for Corax, well we don't have any idea about where the fuck is he...So...any idea ? (I know your idea of alliance is too beautiful to happend, but I will maybe try a fanfiction like ''The End Time 40k'' where Eldar, Imperium and Tau unite after Ynnead bring back some of the Primarch, who help him ressurect the Emperor)

Mate, as I said earlier - this video is the ultimate, pure, unquestionable, epic win! I've seen (and actually made) a lot of W40K Tributes, but I haven't seen a better Eldar Tribute. @180791sanguinius I may have forgot to mention that the guard were fighting light conditions that would go from super bright to pitch dark screwing with their eyes. Only the Eldar could see and even the marines were having trouble keeping up. Also whenever they successfully gained a foothold the craftworld would just eject them into space... Yep, the Eldar have bad ass technology. The only situation where the Eldar were really owned is that battle against Marneus Calgar.

@Goldfarseer Again, I bring up the BA. In their 5th Ed. Codex, there is no mention of the events James Swallow describes in his BA novels (Thank God). On the other hand, the events of the Ultramarines novels are described in the 5th Ed SM Codex. I think that whether an event from a BL novel finds its place in a Codex, really depends on the novel and its reception by the community. Millions and even a billion is tiny for warfare in a galactic scale, hence why each loss is important
