I remember when I fell in love with the Eldar years and years ago. It was the Dire Avengers and their plumed helmets. I still think it looks cool. If the Imperium would get their head out their ass, and they never will, I think with the help of the Eldar who've basically lived long enough to see everything (and mankind is basically following a "similar" path in terms of bringing about their own destruction) and learn from their mistakes, they could bring order to the galaxy.

@@corvid_gremlin (There are, of course, exceptions with all things. I disagree on the 'good number' though, at least before the new lore and they made the new death-god worshiping faction. Before that, both the main Craftworld Eldar and the Dark Eldar had a profound dismissal for all non-Eldar life, both their population majorities. Even the ones who saw value in human life did so from a PURELY pragmatic perspective. 'We can use them and then discard them' not 'they have inherent value'. Eldar Corsairs, then, did things their own way, often wildly differently, their leaving to pursue their own paths allowing them significant difference from the norm. And then the Exodites... mostly keep to themselves, hard to judge them. Finally the Harlequins are a mystery, they kill or perform in accordance with their own religious and theatrical codes. All that to say... yes there are exceptions. However the majority rule IS the broad stroke. Much like how the broad stroke for the Imperium is xenophobic, genocidal to non-humans, and fanatically devoted to the Emperor. A generalization? Absolutely. And true in 99.9% of the cases. As for Guilliman, I'm waiting for the Eldar he's aligned with to betray him. I am absolutely amazed that their alliance has lasted this long, and expect either a full-fledged betrayal, or a civil war to occur within the Eldar faction that allied with the Imperium over allying with the Imperium.)
