Considering that almost all of their chapter is filled with Primaris Space Marines their beliefs and combat doctrine might as well be start from scratch. They could probably learn from their mistakes and adapt a better doctrine than.what they had.

I'll give their Chapter Master credit; even though the Veterans hated being put on training duty, rebuilding the Chapter took priority. A dead Chapter can't help the Emperium. ( unless you're the Legion of the damned).

I would have thought that any human found alive on a tyranid ship would be suspected of being a genestealer and purged....?

Some people are more excused than others :D Also, I would think if you actually suspect someone's a genestealer, you have the means of properly identifying them.

All things die space marines too :/ but I don't see it as a bad thing (besides the upped prises) is see the primaries as a decent way to change and further the story without altering it to a great dagree not yet anyway 😂

If that book from the black library is canon, this to me just reinforces the fact that Games Workshop will eventually stop supporting the original Marines. And only deal in primaries things. This isn't the only chapter that's been nearly or totally wiped out just to be reconstituted as a primary chapter... nice try Games Workshop, but we see you
