I honestly don't think this will happen unless the anime industry picks it up. Warhammer 40K is just too grim and brutal for the mainstream movie factory.

Also imagine the fact that "destroying a planet" like in Star Wars is a big thing/threat normally. The worst thing that can happen. In Warhammer, that is just "a normal thing" and it's not a big thing like in Star Wars with the massive Death Star that blows up the planet with its super laser. It's just a basic warship releasing the "life eater virus" on a planet (that turns it into a ball of toxic, super flammable goop) and then ignites the atmosphere with one explosive shell like someone knocks over a barrel of gasoline in a house and flicks a cigarette into it while leaving not even bothering to look at the result.
