You finally used Kibs basic attack, yay! Since you keep struggling with her abilities, this is what you should do: get her adjacent to a boss. Activate Captive Audience. Use Blade Dance. Activate Where it Hurts. Trigger ALL THE DOTS with basic attack. This way the boss is dead and you dont need to activate defensive buffs ^^ The current meta build uses similar sequence, but with additional dots from bio and pyro.

Wait, does Bladedance not count against your attack limit per turn? I know Death From Above doesn't, but I was under the assumption Bladedance did.

19:00 since they need the ring AND Rogue Trader blood to open the door...having the Rogue Trader locked in without an Heir nearby to open it would be a problem. If I understand how the main door works

Yeah, though I suppose I couldn't help but get caught up on trying to figure the logistics of ongoing upkeep and maintenance. Like, I assume he or his acolytes have to go in there every once in a while to clean or relight candles or at least upkeep the Crypt Servitors that do it. :) Then again, tech in the 40k universe is rarely designed to be practical or user-friendly.

I also loved the effect of the light following your mouse. Like you said, horror movie vibe. I didn't look carefully at those buildings until AFTER I tried to use them for cover - I foolishly assumed they were only spawners. That did not work well for my poor little psyker/sniper in that first round. Heh. And yeah, my lead got immobilized. Made me sweat for a round when it came down to turn order. Heh. I went ahead and armed the Infernus squad. They came in and actually attacked the magus. I may pay for it later, and they died in only a couple of rounds, but I did what I did. :) Edit: "In a prism of her own making". LOL

I truely hope the infernus are a red herring for those who "know" about the gene stealers. BUT you can't trust no one, not in this setting.

Tbh I feel like artifact boosting other stats by +10 if you have 100 in some stat belongs ONLY on Rogue Trader, the same as Data Loom. Reasoning? Increased amount of personal stat checks.
