For me the previous episodes have really re-written how Batreps "should be done" but this one was just amazing! A great game, that wasn't a boring gunline (I play Tau so feel I can comment) and I mean a Coldstar taking down a Knight?! Haha. The crisis suit charges into melee, something he was told not to do in his training but he must kill that knight for the Greater Good. Under a hail of flames and bullets, he gets into melee and he jump packs up to the knight's face and punches with his fusion blades. He lands back down as the knight topples backward with a giant thud as it displaces the dirt around him.

@@lazarusmorgue4670 one of the command re-roll stratagems was used during the charge phase. The other command re-roll stratagem usage was during the fight phase. Hopefully that clarifies why he was able to use a re-roll again after barely surviving overwatch.

The tough part about all this is exactly this! Wanting to get players and their armies back on the channel. Due to our production format and that we all do this P/T we are limited in how many games we produce. As we grow the hope is that we can produce more and get players back. There is also rumblings that we will do a Championship series like how we ended Season One.

This was incredibly fun to watch! I love the running score and CP counter. It was easier than ever to follow the scoring. Incredible looking models on both sides as well and both players were entertaining as hell to watch. I hope they come back! One quick question (I'm a brand new player), why did the flyer have to come off the map? I thought movement phase was optional for each model.

some models (such as flyers without the hover rule) have a minimum movement amount. supersonic flyers such as the tigershark can only turn up to 90 degrees. these two rules combine to make it so as the tigershark couldn't complete its minimum movement within its allowed turning radius without flying off the map and being destroyed. this is set to change in 9th edition though where when a flyer is forced into this position then it will enter reserves instead of being destroyed so it can come back later in the game.
