There is very little actual lore about them apart from simply being mentioned. I might talk about Greenskins soon, though.

Thank you Mr. Narrator. I miss the old warahammer world, and the lore. The age of Sigmar just seems broken to me. May I request dwarf slayer lore. Or more to the point maybe lore on gotrek and Felix. Or I know it will be a ways off but maybe lore on the end times?

I only read 1 novel from Age of Sigmar so far. Can't really comment yet but it did seem to lack...complexity. I'll probably get to the End Times lore towards....the end :D

What do you mean their Lore is "Inspired" by the French Dark Ages? I suggest you watch a Video about the Arthurian Legend, and you will realize, their entire lore is really that , but up to 11 and Grimdark. because warhammer.

I am fully aware it is inspired by Arthurian legend, however the names and locations are as French as they come :)

The Arthurian was based on the legends of Charlemagne, a Frank Emperor

Bretonnia is based on real-world medieval France; its name is clearly derived from the French province of Britanny and it draws heavily from Arthurian legends which are associated with Medieval Brittany; It's just a mix between the French and English Middle Ages and history
