My favorite thing about normal fantasy gnomes is they can live inside of rocks... which implies intimate knowledge of interdimensional engineering.

Gnomes are a curious addition to Warhammer. The race seems so very similar to their close cousins the halflings by their basic nature, common across most fantasy and folklore. Although I expected them to be even smaller in body size than those diminutive denizens of the Moot. I appreciate their inclusion in the original grimdark Fantasy universe and particularly as an ancient Empire-located race existing in opposition to Chaos. Warhammer's gnomes don't quite give the impression of another “earliest children of the forest” mythological race. I quite enjoy these creatures' overall history as well as the fact of their being very much entities of grey magic. I hope that most of them wear those distinctive pointed caps, too. One crucial matter I didn't hear noted - are they more expert gardeners than the halflings? The depiction of the gnome shown after 3:30 is pretty enjoyable; as a well-drawn image of suitable detail and for gnome-like aspects such as that hat's seemingly junk-scavenged crossbones. The conjured magical skull is a great Warhammer alteration, dig it. Sad, that the race has to perpetually live with the dangers of the dark magical arts due to their very composition as living beings. Along with that major clan decimation and resulting inwards hatred. Grimdark! Spontaneously, I also wonder how the gnomes fare in encounters against the skaven and their grey seers, yes-yes. I'm definitely curious about the gnomes' pantheon of deities...although they're probably more withdrawn and secluded than this hidden race which worships them. This was very entertaining since I didn't even know the gnomes existed in Warhammer, Narrator. Thank you as ever for each and every Fantasy video, GDN. I wish you a merry new year, happy Hexenstag and the blessings of Sigmar be upon you.

To be honest, neither did I for a long time. But I've learned not to be surprised since apparently Warhammer Fantasy has everything you could imagine, and somehow still worked.

​@GrimDarkNarrator I actually have a 1800 points army of Gnomes for my Warhammer Fantasy 6th edition. You can find the minis at "old school miniatures". The rules for the army of the gnomes is unofficial material that you can find online, it fits perfectly in the 6th edition.
