That's a bit strange, since he's almost always focusing on protective magic and fighting against daemons and chaos. I'm only re-learning the story now that I'm doing Gotrek and Felix books but I thought he was a member of the Light Order.

@@GrimDarkNarrator In the first tomes of G&F, he was definitely described as Golden Mage. Later he was retconned as a member of the Order of Light.

Also the pioneering fellows of more mundane modern medicine in the Empie, yes the Green Order are indeed healers, but there are jointed efforts among different members of the Colleges to develop better potions for people all around,
