Hello! I've been following your channel for a while and I don't have words to describe the positive and nostalgic feeling it gives me. Although there is something I do want to say, and that is that for me (both when I was a child and today) one of the things that best captured my absolute attention were those vibrant colors that the miniatures, the banners and the scenery had... Those magical greens that made you dream of magnificent forests and meadows that for a few moments were filled with armed conflict between two factions. But there was also something important, and I remember that the armies shown in the publications were often small armies like these (maybe a little bigger) and that made them really nice to see, collect and paint. I admit that images with huge armies captivated my imagination and it was a natural evolution with the improvement of plastic manufacturing and sales needs, BUT those small armies, with some monsters and small, manageable units, that encouraged you to cross a grove of trees (without tedium) or lovingly placing them on a pier, etc... There was something magical that also allowed you to observe the miniatures more closely (without getting lost in a huge mass of soldiers) and that, more often than not and as I said, was They blended better with the environment. All of that is here on your channel and I can almost say that watching one of your videos is the dopamine equivalent of remembering days of nostalgic dreaming. You are a true magician and I wish you the best as well as your channel for the good of the entire community. Thanks a lot. (and sorry for my bad english)

People like to make fun of Goblin Green bases but the way they blend into the grass mat just looks so perfect. It makes the bases disappear and the miniatures look part of the gaming table. Lovely stuff! (And that's not to take anything away from the beautiful Dark Elf army.)

I echo some of the comments. I am in fact new to the hobby. I grew up in the 80s and always loved Warhammer from a far. I remember skipping through pages of White Dwarf, just to see those pictures… Seeing wide open green plains, and I remember seeing an army of Bretonnian Knights, and thinking wow… Then 36yrs later, now in my 40s. Looking for a hobby I can enjoy with my kids, I remembered playing Hero Quest and Space Crusade as a kid, and how accessible it was…. And there it began. I created my own rule set (based off of Heroquest format) and 200+ minis later (how addictive?), here we are….. Not that I have ventured in to any proper Wargaming rules - I’m just using mine at the mo. But am always developing the rules further. I may one day venture into Warhammer rules proper - who knows. Still great videos, specially with the narrative additions. It’s all about immersion!

I love your nostalgic channel bringing back Warhammer as it was intended to be. I’m bitterly disappointed with GW’s release of ‘Warhammer the Old World’. IMO a half hearted effort undertaken by unmotivated employees who have no interest in this area of Warhammer. Example, look at the poor skill level of painting on the new box art. GW appear to have given these miniatures to the least experienced painters in the Evymetal department 🙁😞🇬🇧🙏🌈♥️

A strange opinion imo but I do agree the painting quality has been poor the last decade. GW heavy metal team just isn't the same.
