yeah I can dig it. I've never made any terrain (actually I've just been making lil space soldiers up until only recently) but I just bought some ready made trees, walls and some scatter. I could do with some roads though. I could make them, but I would then also need to go out and buy a bunch more tools and materials. hmm

Haha yeah if you get into terrain building seriously it makes things a lot simpler if you invest in some good tools 😁

What are your thoughts on using fresh cat litter as opposed to tile grout?
@dicedrinksanddadjokes18 күн бұрын
Cat litter is good for a more course look but it doesn't have the adhessive quality of grout so you would need to really seal it in place with glue.
@mlshuford2 ай бұрын
What tile grout do you use? I can find the lighter brown, but I can’t find a dark brown anywhere.

I think it was called mocha. The colour I mean. Good luck

This is awesome! Gonna do this after my current pillar project. Just curious...what is met sealant? I googled it, but don't see anything that's sprayable like you were doing.
@dicedrinksanddadjokes Жыл бұрын
Haha it’s my New Zealand accent sorry! Matte Sealant. I make my own using highly diluted Mod Podge. I have a short video that shows how to make it 😊
great vid, where do you get your basing supplies from?
@dicedrinksanddadjokes2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I got the woodland scenics stuff from a local hobby shop and the grout from a local Tile Depot. The matte sealant is homemade.
@JMACCSArmiesOfMiddleEarth2 жыл бұрын
Brilliant as always man. Have you had any warping issues with the wood or has it always worked fine? I used foamboard and they bent like banannas.
@dicedrinksanddadjokes2 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! Minimal warping with these ones because of their small size. MDF will warp especially with wider pieces. You can minimise warping though by doing things like weighing the corners down and painting the opposite side.
