I don't know, the Imperium was always an opressive, imperialist war machine, and the Space Marines were always brainwashed, inhuman murder monster. The story is supposed to be a cautionary tale. @Zom13y2 жыл бұрын
Bro Horus was always a monster, he just changed masters. Like how can you say a fascist child soldier bio engineered to literally eat people and murder entire planets for “heresy” was an honest and good man? He was a liar, so not honest. He regularly committed genocide and conquer entire planets in the name of a fascist totalitarian regime, so definitely not good. And he was a 9ft tall bio weapon, so never was he even close to being a man. How did you miss the mark of the lore so throughly? All of the IoM before and after the Horus Heresy were cartoon villain level bad guys, like they kidnap children and turn them into monsters to fight in their armies that’s how they reproduce. It’s like saying the Goa’uld in Stargate were good and honest men, except some Goa’uld actually were.

Death to the False Emperor, cause he is a liar. Death to the Fasle Emperor cause he is not righteus. Death to the False Emperor cause he betrayed his own sons. Let the seas boil, let the stars fall. Stop being a IoM apologist, the IoM was ALWAYS horrible fascist and inhuman and the Emperor was incompetent. His “sons”, those 20 bio weapons he created were all failures. The story of 40k isn’t fascism is necessary or that the IoM fell into fascism it’s that fascism is inhumane and a failure from the offset. The Emperor rules over an Empire of trillions upon trillions of humans where the average life expectancy on the most “advanced” hive worlds is 30. The IoM has never made a single citizen’s life better, in fact it’s the biggest threat to human life. “You stole power from the gods” I can’t wait for the final siege of terra book. Big E vs Horus better have some lore shaking dialogue. Edit: My favourite part of this cinematic is 1:47 where Horus because of his Primarch physiology is able to watch the orbital strike on the titan. There is a theory that it was actually Sanguinious who killed Horus , when he entered the room and saw that his father was in danger he succumbed to the red thirst and went berserk, he killed Horus and then attacked the emperor , it was actually that son that the big E couldnt bring himself to kill. When he actually did , during his last words he ordered that this would remain hidden so as not to bring shame to Sanguinious and keep the empire together . Mind blowing

@mirotrevino96622 жыл бұрын
@@christiandauz3742 it's actually a really solid theory and it wouldn't make any difference if Pious was killed by Sanguinius or Horus as he would still have balls of steel for stepping in between them and the Big E. Cry some more dude. You old hammer guys are aggravating because it's your fault the lore refuses to grow and move forward. Waah Pious is a perpetual so somehow that makes him standing in front of Horus knowing he has no chance and that he will not revive this time somehow less impactful. Waah Sanguinius died so the very idea of him resurrecting for any reason makes my neck beard hairs bristle and stand on end. Shut up already and let those of us who want compelling story to enjoy new 40k plot lines that actually give the setting real stakes. If everything is a complete losing battle and no one lives well anywhere then it's unrealistic to believe humanity wouldn't have given up at this point. There has to be small lights shining in the darkness and hope needs to exist even in a Grimdark setting
@amarastarte072 жыл бұрын
@@zeratulgr Even though that theory would be a more shocking and heartbreaking theory, I don't think it would happen tho. Because as the Siege of Terra goes on, Horus has been projected to be even more powerful than the emperor, with the Pantheon keep juicing him up with Chaos Kool Aid while the emperor keeps getting weaker by holding the Shattered Webway and the Imperial Palace's Wards. In Mortis, Horus keeps harassing the Emperor in his astral form, slowly weakening him and in the end of the book, Horus is capable of touching the emperor's astral form. Also in the next book of the Siege of Terra (Echoes of Eternity) Sanguinius is predicted to have a fight between 2 powerful opponent, Ka'Bandha (because old lore) and Angron (because prophecy). So Sanguinius would probably be in a even worse state than before, and in no ways capable of killing full powered Horus even with the Black Rage. So even if I like that theory, I don't think it would be happening.
