Loving the battle reports. Especially the casual one with allergy fantastically painted minis. How did you find the huge block of archers with multiple ranks like that?

The Arrer boyz mob looked good ,spider banner sounded like a good idea. But I would have been better off running something else , either splitting the unit up into smaller units or running spider riders etc

That was a close draw. The Great Keef needed some action there, though! That was a key charge with those black orcs. How did the priestess survive when her whole company was killed?

Yeah I wasn’t sure how the rules worked , I shot the whole unit off the table and the Bsb and prophetess were left standing there. We should have assigned wounds to each model when they got below 5 rank and file models.

@@CreakyGamers Oh, that's a good point. However, as they are part of the unit, I believe they would simply be hit last. So, if there are any hits left over after the rest of the unit is dead they would just be passed on to them.

I’m also a snob. I pour hours of effort into making my army well painted and complete. When I wind up across the table from all grey plastic, I forfeit. I know the reason Captain Plastic takes part in Warhammer and it’s not for a friendly game. For all the time I spend edge highlighting, Captain Plastic spends it math-hammering down to the last point in order to table his opponent.

Well played against a strong list! I think you were a bit unlucky with dice in this game, fanatics, arty and the chariot on the right looked like they didn't have good rolls, can be wrong though, it's not easy to tell 😅 Great Keef should be renamed brave sir Robin or something 😂 Thanks for the battle report!

Yeah a bit of bad luck , but it all evens out eventually. Off to another short 2 game even tmrw , I'll try and improve my use of Da Great Keef.

@@CreakyGamers may i suggest a slightly different build for Keef boy that i think fits more with your playstyle? Don't mind if i do 😅 Give him trollpants+talisman and just cavalry spear and shield 2+/5+/5+ saves and can still do the job in charge (choppas and waagh) I think you will be more confident using him that way both on offence and defence You might wanna change your arrowboyz as well, i remember that when you presented the list it was the only pick that i thought was kinda meh, some wolf riders can be nice and better suited for ruby ring goblinboss or savage orcs maybe, orcs have many good options tbh but i guess they deserve another chance, im sure they ll do better this time, i mean you failed 2 L9 terror tests in this tournament with them, thats not "normal" Gl, can't wait for the 2 battle reports!

Close to my thoughts, I have given him a Great weapon , shield (vs shooting),Trousers and Talisman of protection. So he's a 2+ vs shooting and 3+ in combat. then 5+5+ Ive had to change my night goblins a bit withthe faq, so I have a unit of 30 with shields and a unit of 20 with bows , I now have 5 fanatics in total. The Arrer boys are 3 units of 5 to give me more deployments and chaff for diverting things. One of them is skirmishing. I also squeezed in 3 chariots now , all with extra crew. We will see how it goes.

You were far too passive with Keef, he killed what? One entire mounted squire all game? He needed to get stuck in with that chariot 😊

Yeah you are 100% correct ! , The orc chariots also have 1st charge , which I seem to forget all the time. It would have went better if they both went in. I am off to another 2 game tourney on the weekend , Da Great Keef will charge!
