This season we're off to Ghur and the Realm of Beasts, with the Sons of Velmorn fighting the Gnarlspirit Pack. GW continues to put out some swanky models with all sorts of style. Curious to try out the Rivals format!

I'm a sucker for skellybones and those are some good looking skellybones

They also didn't break instantaneously like the Cursed City ones!

I bought the Darkoath Warband second Hand. Than I startet painting them. Next I reached the point: painting their Eyes. This Hammer Dude drived me crazy it took me over an Hour to get his Eyes to an "OKAY" but I'm still not Happy with it. The Jaw on his Armour makes a weird angle to reach his Eye. Pure Frustration!

I'll have to dig mine out. I'm assuming I painted their eyes as well, but I can't recall the frustration on that particular set. Other models- absolutely!

Ya’ll paint the eyes?😂

had the same experience with a reaper deep gnome mini that had a helmet on but there was enough space between the top and the visor that they sculpted the face and nose. getting the eyes done while not hitting the armor was a pain. Same can be said for any mini in a Barbute style helm

GW still produces nice sculpts but their greed takes away a lot from their games. I go back to rogue trader days where 1 book had the army lists of All the forces, all the rules. It's a shame, but 3D printing will gives options no one imagined back then. Thanks for the look!!.
