i think you are right 100% agree. so much fun. it has amazing models. i wish they would bring back the expansions! hopefully they do a new quest for fantasy. cursed city was such a disaster, and its a shame!

thanks man, i love them. you can do some cool stuff, and get a great affect. i have used the Sector Imperialis bases on other blackstone fortress sets. i still do the cracks in pink and blue, as shown in this video, but its more of a metallic, ship type floor. its another option, if you prefer a little less work, and a little more money, they look great as well! (they come in big packs, so you just pick the coolest/best ones).

of course my friend, legit throw me some feedback. do you prefer a short video too? more actual painting, and less cuts, do you like the voice over, so the volume is uniform throughout? this was by far the most work i've put into editing a video, so lots of potential to improve. cheers

@@WarHammerMan so I wanted to re-watch the video and provide some good feedback. Overall the video may have been a bit long, I would probably prefer it to be broken up into maybe three separate parts: basing tutorial, painting tutorial, and showing off the completed set. I feel doing it this way lets people pick and choose what they want to see at a given time and not have to sift though the whole video each time. This may allow you to focus a bit more on each portion as well because I would have appreciated seeing more painting as well but I was initially hyped for the basing to start with. The voice over was perfect as well; made everything clear and easy to hear. Really appreciate all the content you put out there and would be great to see more painting/basing/modeling stuff as well. Hope that helps and look forward to seeing more in the future!

ya the models are amazing, UR-025 is such a cool model, i love the navigator, i want to incorporate her into a navis breachers kill team. the heroes are awesome, even the baddies are so cool! such a nice set of minis, amazing game... what cursed city could have been... they were sooo close!!!

oh nice, perfect timing. not sure if you've played before, but be ready to have a new favorite game! its so friking much fun! its such a shame about the expansions. they are great, GW needs to just reprint them, and accept the fact that BSF is amazing, and they are leaving a ton of money on the table, not reprinting that stuff!

I think you have inspired me to Get this game. The models just look so damn cool. I am interested in how you did the Dry brushing and what you mean by doing it with plastic instead of paper? and how you did the lighting effects for example around the navigators eyes or the robot eyes. OSL i think you called it.

ya these models are great. for drybrushing, people always say you should use cardboard, or a paper towel, to suck the moisture out of the paint, its the worst possible advice you can get... i never do this, it works very poorly. i put my paint on a plastic surface. a plastic bag works great, or some packaging that is firm. this will not suck the water out of the paint, that way when you properly load up your brush to drybrush, it will not give you the dried out chalky look, that drybrushing gets a bad name from... i should do a comparison video, demonstrating both, once you see the difference its obvious... never use cardboard or paper towels, it ruins effect! as far as the lighting or OSL. i used the tesseract glow technical paint from games workshop. then i just mix it 50/50 with some white scar, and put a tiny dot in the middle. it gives an amazing glow effect, works great on power weapons, and lots of other stuff. i have some videos showing this off. i'm in the process of sorting them in the playlists so its easier to find! cheers
