Now the second and final part of this fight. A spectacular if a bit of a divisive fight. An amazing showing for the Khan none the less, and a great showing of how even the strongest of the demonic forces can be beaten mentally to negate their physical dominance. Though, I do hope Mortarion gets some wins soon, still. If you enjoyed this and wish to support me you can like, comment and subscribe! Or if you wish you can support further in the Discord, Patreon or on my RedBubble. and as always, my thanks for watching!

I want to see Morty turn on Nurgle. Since he joined Nurgle, he hasn't had a hard win. They're all against weaker foes who can't go the distance. There is no pride to be had making a world sick and waiting until they're melting to press the attack.

So the Khan managed to go toe-to-toe with Mortarion in terms of endurance in terms of stamina. Even better, he outclassed him in spirit. Impressive!
@aguywithalotofopinions4122 ай бұрын
Well... not exactly. 1-No amount of blunt physical trauma can compare to Nurgle literally rotting you from the inside out, and 2-Mortarion didn't give in for himself, he could take the pain, he gave in to spare his sons. He definitely outclassed him in skill though.
@ralframirez700Ай бұрын
@@aguywithalotofopinions412 Thinking about it, you are right in terms of Morty and his 1st encounter with Nurgle. However, I do also think his spirit is weaker in his fight with the Khan since he did surrender himself and his sons to the Plague Father.

I wonder how different fatigue feels for Mortarion. Nurgle blocks pain for his followers, so he probably does not feel pain, maybe just his arms getting heavier. I get the feeling Jaghatai's unwavering conviction is imposing the soreness on Mortarion and the vigor on himself, showing that the Khan is truly the more enduring one.
@hammer13492 ай бұрын
He may not feel the pain but he will feel himself slowing down, muscles tearing strip by strip, wearing out more and more with each heavy blow.
@ratelvora80142 ай бұрын
Nurgle followers do actually feel pain. The "blessings" of the plaguefather do not truely give relief from suffering and all of his creatures, that look as if they should be in indescribable agony, actually are. What it does however is make them experience hopelessness, despair and pain to the point were they utterly succumb to it and go (even more) mad to cope with the horror. Those corrupted are in such denial regarding their own conditions, that they can successfully and unceasingly lie to themselves and insist that what they are experiencing isn't hell. They can put on their friendly and jovial facades, because they consciously belief what they are preaching but are fueled by spite because unconsciously they are still in impossible agony and despair and that has the expectable effect on them.
@joeblack280918 күн бұрын
Yea I agree with his arms getting heavier. He could probably feel his body moving slower, breathing harder, and obviously reaction speed slower.
@gasmonkey1000Ай бұрын
This is why I love the Khagan. Absolutely perfect feints, aggression when necessary, and understanding. He understood what Mortarion's pain was, used that to draw out all aggression, and then use aggression on a singular point. Glory to the Warhawk, the Khagan of Chogoris, Father of the Scars, Jaghatai Khan

As Rylanor shows centuries later, one of the best weapons against a daemon is hurting their pride. And the Khan shot him with insult after insult to Mortarian's pride, despite having no psyker gifts later librarians or Grey Knights would have used against a daemon primarch..

And to think, the Khan survived this. If the 40k lore is accurate, he lived despite being conoletely shattered. He was right, being able to die does make the difference. The line about fighting typhon is a very nice double edge. Saying that mortarion was beneath typhon but at the same time typhon needed to die in order to save the death guard, the heart of the corruption.

Lion couldnt even kill Curze and almost died to him
@canderoussnurd4265Ай бұрын
@@Michaentus True. But you wanna know why that happened? Because if he actually fought like he should’ve and at full strength the story would be over and Curze would be dead before he was supposed to be. And don’t tell me Curze is better. The Lion literally killed Angron in demon prince form, fresh from a 10,000 year coma having never fought something like him before. Yet some how he can’t beat Curze?! Bullshit. Think dude. Use your knowledge of the Lion and what he’s used for and tell me how the strongest Primarch loses to the 40k equivalent of Chester Benning? He lost because the writer put them into a fight but couldn’t think of a smart way to have Curze survive and instead of just having them never meet face to face or at the very least pull a Fulgrim at the saturnine where it’s clear he wouldn’t win and so he flees using his men as distraction, they have Curze duel the Lion and hold his own. It’s stupid, it’s lazy and it makes no sense. So don’t sight it like it’s legitimate. This is the same writing team that made Horus the tragic hero instead of keeping the original ending. These are not creative people writing this series. Just angst ridden dolts that get off on “subverting expectations”.

@michasalamon83152 ай бұрын
That was most likely the trickiest taunt I have yet heard in 40k. On Terminus Est, Morty was the only one enduring the Rot with little more than discomfort, the deadliest plague in the galaxy. But everyone else in the fleet was suffering, dying, waking up and dying again. Morty could had spent eternity there, but instead he took Nurgle’s deal and saved his entire legion. And here Khan suggest he gave in because his tummy aches. Also, Kharn basically kamikazed himself to kill Morty here, I get it, but what would happen if Morty decided to cut off his arms or leg during the process? And if Kharn himself made sure that didn’t happen before Morty was tired, why didn’t he just cut off Mortarion’s head from the beginning if he is so ungodly fast?
