I can’t believe how well researched, the quality, and number of videos you’re putting up. Outstanding job and so refreshing to see someone covering the Western Theater. Keep it up

This treatment over three videos (looking forward to #3) is much appreciated. This prologue is excellent as a single piece. You could skip it if it isn't your thing, but its my thing, and well done. I like the energy in the narrator's voice. It covers over the odd mis-pronunciation, and delivers layers of meaning without being too heavy (boring).

Subscribed! There is serious love of the military history of the American Civil War on display in these videos and the research cited. This ambitious project is nothing short of a "Warhawk's Online Atlas of the Civil War" - it deserves to succeed and be seen through to the end. So keep up the EXCELLENT work, but pace yourself too. Totally looking forward to Part 2 of this.

Beauregards initial plan was over-ambitions. With well trained regular troops it might have worked. Not with the troops the CSA had available.

Just an idea. I have my great grandfathers (x3) last letter to home. He was with the 24th NC Infantry Regiment Company C “Clayton Yellow Jackets” with Ransoms Brigade. He sent the 4 page letter home on June 5th, 1864 from Bottoms Bridge, VA. His regiment is moved to Petersburg and he is killed in battle on June 18th in the opening days of the Siege of Petersburg. The letter is full of info and at the same time is heartbreaking. He is worn out and wants to come home. Speaks of Lee and Grant as well as the exchange of tobacco for coffee with the Yankees. Didn’t know if you would want to do a breakdown of it. Never seen anyone do something like that before on these type channels. I have the documentation on him, his unit, and the letter. Just an idea and regardless love the channel.

That would be cool! At the moment, we are currently focusing on the battles in chronological order but we definitely can come back to that
