+1lapmagic Mate this is the game, the only thing they could be 'concealing' here are visual errors or bugs. The game seen here while expanded dramatically is still very much so at it's core similar to the beta which if you're not a backer you can see for all of it's glory on one of many different videos uploaded by backers. Go into the game expecting the wrong thing and then you might actually be fooled.

+Mgtow Monk Templar If they haven't fully represented HEMA in this game why would they go on to then emulate styles that have no relevance in this era? For the record while armour protects your legs it also protects you from legs. You might not have a dramatic effect on an armoured man with a single kick unless it was a beautiful kick to the chin that might daze someone, problem is it's much easier especially armoured to walk through a kick and punish you for trying one. Punches, elbows, headbutts, throws, knees and close in kicks should still be very effective high percentage techniques though if you're heavily armoured.

I see I'm not the only one. Hopefully based on how successful this game does we'll get future projects from them and perhaps a sequel or maybe another game like this one but taken at a different time,place, character. As a Rpg lover I'd love if they took this type of concept in future games hopefully this studio does a Eastern Asia type of game with samurais and all that stuff. Or maybe a bit more modern with guns and boats? Pirates possibly?

I've never preordered a game in my life except for backing the Shenmue 3 campaign and that's because Shenmue is my favorite video game series of all times. They used a lot money from people preordering the game on their website and put that money back into the game. Also the game has already gone gold. I only preorder the night before if I pre-order games but review already up by that point.

Cullen Diethron this is completely false. They had a kickstarter, one of the most succesful at the time. The kickstarter was meant to convince an investor that enough people were interested in this type of game. Since the kickstarter was a success, this guy chose to fund them.

Actually, the idea came directly from the community, and we thought it was very good, so we made it. "You should save every time you drink a beer. Because you would only drink if you are in a save environment." And we made it schnapps and used it against save spamming. It can have very positive aspects to work very closely together with the community.

Skvělé video. Chci upozornit na nesrovnalost s popravou mečem viz. "V našich zemích bývalo obvyklejší stínání mečem, sekera se používala spíše ve starším období (12. - 14. století). Zatímco při stínání sekerou spočívala hlava odsouzence na připraveném špalku, při popravě mečem nebyl špalek nutný. Odsouzenec klečel na zemi, někdy dokonce mohl i sedět na nízké stoličce. Vlasy mu byly ostříhány nebo svázány a límec košile či kabátu byl ustřižen, aby meči nic nestálo v cestě. Měl zavázané oči, aby, dle pověry, posledním pohledem nikoho neuhranul. Narozdíl od vžitých představ byl tedy smrtící úder veden nikoli shora dolů, ale téměř vodorovně zezadu na hrdlo. Pak už záleželo na katově zručnosti, na dobrém ostří a na tom, zda se vězeň v rozhodující chvíli nepohnul. ""Průběh popravy závisí na nástroji, například při stětí sekerou odsouzenec klečí tak, že má hlavu položenou na špalku, při stětí mečem většinou také klečí, hlavu má ale ve vzpřímené poloze. Lighting can make or break a game, and often lighting is way overdone with too much bloom, or too strong sunlight. Here, it's perfect, and wonderfully subtle. I love the "Greens", from the grass and leaves. Again, tree leaves and grass often look a bit too cartoony and unnatural. Here, it's very natural looking - adding to the immersion. Nights look amazing, atmospheric and creepy. Textures look great, good use of ground textures, vegetation, and metals look amazing. UI, looks good. Not too cluttered, or over-complicated. Acting seems good from what I am hearing, it seems they've gone way out of their way to get the period just right. Really looking forward to this. I hope, at some stage, it's fully moddable.

I like your version of fast travel. It forces the player to think and plan ahead, instead of constantly jumping between very remote places. Naturally, this requires an appropiate quest design, but I trust you've avoided fetch-quests, which have to be done in sequence rather than simultaneously.

Why does this game remind me of a really good, newer style, of a 1992 game called "DarkLands" by MicroProse? It had many of the same attributes as this game. (How choices you make effect how others treat you, Alchemy, Skills, etc) I simply adore the realistic scenery of this game. I could just walk/ride about it for hours. So beautiful & serene.

Certian features look great in gameplay trailers as you see it in them once, but some things can be very repeatative in the final game. I don't know the current stage of the development, but there is a risk that it's going to very plain.

Loving what I've seen so far. I hope the devs support the modders. Well I have seen them congratulating some modders that have uploaded videos on KZbin. Having said that, I believe that no matter how good a game is, the key to make it stay around longer are mods. Just take a look at skyrim, if not for mods, maybe it might have not been that successful. Anyway, I really loved all the features showed in the video.

A Lone Witcher probably massacring the dog is actually an option on the game, all is up to you. I think that massacring the dog would cause it to scream in pain or alarm other people with the sound itself of the attack, so is a less stealthy option
