Section 80C limit is not Rs. 1.5 Lakhs. It's only ~Rs. 94K. How? 80C limit was revised to 1.5 Lakh in 2014-15. It's been 8 years since then. At an inflation rate of 6%, 1.5 Lakhs in 2014 is worth only 94K in 2022. It's high time that the section 80C limit is increased to at least 2.5 Lakhs. What do you think?
