Yoshi is commonly a sidekick to a certain heroic Italian Japanese Brooklyn-origin plumber whose surname is Mario. Yoshi first encountered the plumber when the plumber wasn't a plumber and was instead a newborn baby. It is unknown whether Yoshi and a similar character called Birdo are related or not. In the internet, Yoshi has been accused of commiting many crimes, such as tax fraud. It is unknown where these rumours came from exactly, but someone who said their uncle worked at Nintendo said it, so surely it must be true.
