For those of us too unwell to travel, thankyou. I used to love travelling down to the Exhibition. Excellent cutting and narrative.

Your commentary is excellent and you have the right voice for it, although a little too quiet in places if I may say so. I've subscribed and I have to say your production is one of the best I've seen. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks John I’d imagine the drop in volume is when I sit back from the microphone a little too far, it’s a little temperamental and I have to have it almost in my face to pick up right which makes viewing and talking slightly difficult at time 😆. Thank you for subscribing

Project Tiger Moth also premiered on Saturday, which was a fan project where Thomas fans make a Season 5-like episode.

Really, sounds like an interesting project got to be better than the animated rubbish they have these days.

My oldest granddaughter got me into Thomas and Sodor. The Class 66 is my favorite EMD. Your Class 37 is also easy for me to identify… wonderful model tour, WS. 😊

37s are great, for me I prefer the 59 over the 66 just because it was one of the first models my dad got me.

A really great, nicely filmed and well edited record of a few of the ridiculous number of layouts there were there - thank you! I'm gutted I missed some of these. Also, nice touch adding some commentary, sadly lacking from most of the exhibition videos on YT. Cheers

I know you really need both days to get an appreciation of all the layouts and why I didn’t film everything (also I do it on my phone so probably would have killed it with all the footage 😆) I think there was one or two layouts I missed or just couldn’t get near they’d be about 3 people deep!
@jamfjord2 жыл бұрын
@@WesternSignalman yeah, that goes for the traders too, couldn't get near some of them either! I was there both days and still missed stuff. Fun weekend though all the same 😊

Tan-y-llyn was spectacular as were most you showed. What annoys me most is the work that goes into building epic scenery and then they drive the loco at breakneck speed. Go figure :) Great video though. Subbed

Thank you, my memory was playing tricks on me I was certain I’d seen it in the ‘B’ area on the map and I was searching the descriptions and just couldn’t find it. But I didn’t want to leave it out of the video as it was such a wonderful little layout so I thought better to get the name wrong than not to show some appreciation for it.

This is brilliant. The editing of the video is excellent. In terms of the layout, the weathering on 25296 I think was great . Personal favourite was st Ruth (Penzance) but the prenoniciaton of the German layout, top class. Impressive. Well done you
@WesternSignalman2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Matt, although my brother has pointed out one of the areas of German I was describing in the narration i pronounced wrong. I really liked the lighting on ST.Ruth. I really like the one based on Ipswich docks but whenever I tried to film it nothing moved 😆

I would like to see an inner city route with witless graffiti, abandoned washing machines and supermarket trolleys in a stagnant canal.
@WesternSignalman2 жыл бұрын
Much like the route between snow hill and Kidderminster, I couldn’t believe how much had been dumped when I did a cab ride on that route a few years ago.
@richardc6742 жыл бұрын
You could try Everard Junction on KZbin. This tries to re-create the grimier side of inner city life. Lots of graffiti, but alas to supermarket trolleys in the grimy canal. It ode however have a canal side scrap yard with plenty of old washing machines.
