Back in the days I found a 'guide' that stated that if you had about 100-120 spellpower at around level 30-32 (so at that point you'd have both the Siphon Life Talent and 2/2 Fel Synergy Talents at 32) and then double your Spell Power every 15 levels, you would be set to DoT 'n Run through the level. So say 100 (or a bit more to be safe) at level 30, 200-ish at level 45, 400 at 60 and then 800+ for the Wrath leveling. The only 'stat' you'd look for on gear would be (Shadow) Spell Power to boost your Corruption/CoA damage. Would recommend speccing heavily into Affliction obviously where you pick all talents that boost your Corruption/CoA damage (nothing else is important) and then put your last points into the Demonology tree to pick up Fel Synergy (should already have this), Demonic Aegis and Soul Link. While leveling you should either run with a Voidwalker and use his Sacrifice ability (the damage the VW takes from that is quickly healed back up by the 2 points in the Fel Synergy talent) or with the Fel Hunter for a bit more damage-done from the Pet.

@@antonkashnikov3345 I found that 'guide' in a KZbin-comment somewhere like 5-10 years ago. But I leveled a bit in Wrath on my Warlock and it did work like that. Just gear for Spellpower and Spirit (which gives more Spellpower), DoT everything and keep on going. If you want to be a bit more on the safe side you pick the Voidwalker and use it's shield, otherwise just use the Felhunter to kill enemies faster.

I have a hard time leveling an alt, for my main is a lock. I don't think locks ever had a bad time leveling (vanilla, maybe?). But after that I never had any issues. No need to kite, no need for food or drink, always having uptime for the next pack.

This seems cool but as destruction I can kill the same number of mobs equally fast (maybe? give or take) just one at a time. Soulfire > immolate > conflagration > searing pain = dead. Mobs die in less than a second with crits and like 3 seconds without after soulfire is cast. But whether destro or afflic locks are fun

at 42 when you get shadowbite for your fel hunter and he gets mana back whenever he does it every 2 seconds with talent = free mana you can drain life at will full health and full mana 100% uptime

I've played all kinds of MMO, trying to find the best game that fits my play style. So, far.. I've found that *any* class that can inflict damage autonomously, be it DoT, Summons, Pets, flying swords/guns, swarms of bugs, or the combination of everything I just mentioned.. are the best class in that game in terms of dealing sustained damage while moving. My first experience with this type of play style was in Silkroad Online. I played the European Class - Warlock. Quests that normally take 1hr to complete, can be done in less than 20mins with a Warlock. The same goes for WoW, apparently. 😂 Never found any other class enjoyable again after that. But, don't let me change your play style. Play your game the way you want to~

From an "ease" of leveling standpoint, is Blood DK comparable to the affliction warlock? I don't mean in terms of the ability to pull entire rooms at once, more so the ability to just constantly keep your HP up with whatever pack you're killing. Foresee a lot of killing mobs and alt-tabbing in my future :)

I'm going to roll fresh and hope to main DK. I was torn between hunter and warrior as a quick and fun way to hit 55, but this has me intrigued. Is Lock expected to be OP'd from 1-60 as well? On fresh you won't have any of the crafted +dmg gear or enchants that are available. It is still a fast class but mage scales better at the lower levels without gear if all you are interested in is getting to 55 the fastest solo.

Not to mention I just don't care much for mage gameplay. I do agree that if you can jump right in and stay ahead of the pack that mage will be 1st to 55/60

@@seansaxon641 As for a non AOE class Druid is often overlooked, It has increased speed from 20-30 (when everyone gets mount) has self healing for pretty much no down time. Then of course there is hunter if you want to micro manage they are really fast levelers.

Take the points out of lifetap and put them into improved felhunter this makes your felhunter your mana battery you dark pact instead of lifetap never lose health and use the glyph that gives sp on lt or dp quick decay is better that siphon life glyph as well making corruption tick 15% faster gives 15% (haste rating)more siphon life health and does damage faster the siphon life glyph is a 10% bonus to siphon life

As you can see from other comments, it is more than possible to do it when you get SL (30lvll+ I think). All you have to do is kite and exploit paths properly, you won't be losing any hp most of the time. Biggest problem with playing like that is mobs evading back to their spots due not being "touched" for some time. Cause of that it's best to do it on mobs that are yellow/green. Cheers bro!

Infinite,there is no such thing, but as musch as can be pulled yes.Also retro just melt undead. Retribution paladin does not have the same longevity as a warlock. Your “hundreds” of leveled characters should have shown you that. Are paladins the best class at level 80? Most will say yes. I know they are super well itemized and optimized but that isn’t until they hit 80. Outside of T6 paladins, most are going to be running into northrend in T4 or T5 quality items. You WILL run out of mana fairly quickly. Especially when you’re popping your instant heals which cost a significant amount mana which is stressing your already low mana pool. Put a warlock in t4-t5 gear, they just pick up haunt and continue as normal. Ngl, you present yourself like an asshole based off your comment as you’re flaunting how much time you spent playing a game. @@GenesisDG As much as i remember,this video was for ''fastest leveling'' which means from 1 to 80. And yes, paladins are the fastest levelers Seal of Command, crusader strike, divine storm, unlimited mana with judgements of the wise. From level 1 to 80 its the fastest and best level character. Next is oomking, just because he has a bit of a rough start, need to be maybe lvl 30-40 to get some gear and skills, but after 40 oomkin is a machine and in northrend oomkin is the uber fastest leveler (starfall glyphed is fking op as hell). So yes, what i said is 100% truth (lets not forget frost mages are good too). We are talking about leveling speed and ease, nothing more and again retro pala is the fking top. About affli lock i play this beast for idk 12-13 years almost non stop, its reliable yes, but fast come on. At the time you put curses on 3 mobs and start draining them, retro pala will pull 6-7 mobs and divine storm/crusader/concentrate/judgement..... in a 1-2 second and he moves to the next pack, while you drain life, drain life/tap,tap haha :)
