Warlord Epic Pike & Shot v Peter Pig 15mm ECW - painting desk update.

I'm working on more 15mm Peter Pig ECW horse for customer John with 4 sprues of Epic P&S to follow for customer Noel so thought it might be good to take a look at both side by side for comparison. I like both! EDIT: Louisiana Tigers are of course ACW not ECW!!

Very good! I especially like the La Zouaves with the unit name mounted on the base. I have wanted to do something like that with the Epic ACW and Waterloo figures however the Warlord bases are not large enough to do so.. Now I have hundreds of bases done all with the Warlord bases, and I DON'T want to rebase them!! I should have done what you did right from the start. Instead will probably make separate unit ID's and 'push' them around with the units. Not exactly what I would like to do. Thanks for the video English Civil War coming along very nicely. Thank you. Re basing is the worst job going! The idea of separate labels would well though and at least you can change them for different scenarios. Note my error, referring to the Zouaves as ECW!! All the best, Lee.

Yes I have mixed Peter Pig in with Epic cavalry units. When painted and based In units they look very good.

I was surprised how well they match for size. I have seen Epic units with Peter Pig 'head packs added and it works pretty well to. Cheers, Lee.

I have mixed Epic, Peter Pig, and Steel Fist cavalry together and they look pretty good (except that the Epic cavalry figures are noticeably poorer quality than the others). But infantry don’t work - Epic foot is too small and squished together to work with the others (in my opinion).
