My Warm 273 EQ will arrive 2 days after, I have to say its need a lot of courage to buy this luxury equipment(it will be the most expensive gear in my rack), but your video showed it worth that price, that really chilled me out, thanks Marco. BTW, your song was good, I really enjoyed that moment.

Yeah I kept the heritage and sold the warm. Once you use these preamps for quite sometime you can definitely tell which one is better :)

The “Tone” button is just an impedance switch. When u press it it changes the winding in the transformer to reach 300 ohms loading as opposed to 1200 ohms with the button depressed. Cheers!

Kababayan! I will evaluate both. My GAP-73 wasn't too bad, but lacked the EQ and probably isn't as good. My WA-412's were killer on drums, ISA 828's also, but I need a proper 1073 for classical concert piano, pipe organ and voice, as seen on my channel.

too bad Manila Cathedral as everywhere else, reportedly neglects the pipe organ, and thus most Filipinos grow up ignorant of the Bach material, and then when I play the Bach styles, they ask me to play pop or kumbaya. I've had enough of that

@@jacobsmith3329 I did the shoot out and the tone beast won me over both are great. The tone beast has some options though, that I like. Add “tone” no doubt. Very pleased with the result🙏

You said the Chinese knock off.. you get what you pay for... I get that but that alctron is actually pretty good sound wise and inside wise. Cheap transformer but they sound good

From what I heard in Rock Beato's channel, he used a real Neve on Acoustic....The Heritage to my ears sounded closer. It sounded more balanced. I could hear more low end in your Heritage demo. There is a dirtiness in old vintage style preamps, perhaps due to drift of components in their old age . The Warm audio sounded clearer, more sad faced eqwise, with the low end rolled off a bit. People say the heritage is a bit harsh and thin compared to a real Neve but your demo seemed to convince me otherwise. They both sounded great. Got that studio sound thing happening. But I find the warm audio sounds a bit more modern, in your face, bright and clear. While The Heritage had this dirty sound that seemed closer to a real Neve.

I disagree, the Warm Audio has plenty of depth to it's sound, but both units sound great.
