I'm doing these SUPER out of order and I don't care! We unboxing Pig & Fire man today bois! This video is short and sweet. Just chewing through my unboxing backlog!

I had the same thing happen to my carver I bought at a FLGS. Skull was broken off out of the box. The amount of, size of, and placement of supports left on Carver and MMD47 is the first time I got a WM4 model and went "Ok you're effing with me." Because some of the supports don't even make sense. There are supports between pipes that are TOUCHING. The support is barely there and very hard to remove. The supports between the chain links on the belt make no sense. It took way too long to clean that model up. I love it now that I'm painting it... but they gotta improve.

Agreed. Like I think they are using an auto support program? I can't be sure. I use one for Lychee when i do the bases but like i then go in and trim supports that make ZERO sense. I have a feeling they aren't really doing that. I think if they took a little more time in R&D and tried to remove as many supports the auto system crapped out - test printed - see if it did ok.. repeat till it was bare bone supports it would make a better overall product and get rid of this issue. HOWEVER, I 100% am aware this would increase dev time by a lot.. atleast 24 - 48h per model and that adds up on units of 5.

@@UnderwhelmingUpkeep Yeah, definitely. I can see relying on quick and good enough for squads. But when we're talking about a big showpiece $80 model like MMD47 and carver ultima, it seems worth it to take the extra time to make it feel good to open and do the prep.
