Oh how I miss that!!!! Dont sell them here in New Zealand!! I remember buying them freshly made and oh so warm at the butcher opposite Groote Schuur Hospital every morning as I lived in Rondebosch, b4 moving to NZ. My friend, Lisa stayed in Observatory and I would pick her up, our other friend Bradley and we would but the worsies on our way to work, Century City! Oh the memories😘

Penny Polonies still my favourite...sometimes when BELGRAVIA bus pass GM Butchery (close to Grootte Schuur) - a friend of the group (on the bus) would buy us some penny polonies and we will eat on our way home - so warm and yummy.

All your recipes looks very delicious and I cannot wait to try them soon. I stay in Pretoria, the butchers in Laudium make this polony on Thursdays. We call it butcher polony or hot polony because when you buy it for some reason the polony is warm in temperature and you can just eat it immediately. I have never ever been to Cape Town before and have been wanting to visit for a really long time, so it nice to see your videos and learn about your culinary traditions. Oh yes and I have tried your bobar recipe too, it was really nice and I also added some more stuff. Jazakallah sharing your recipes and tips 💕
