Incredibly cool. Warmoth should do kits like this more often. I suspect they'd be a big hit and it removes a bit of the intimidation factor of building a guitar yourself

Haha....I noticed that too. Black and gold FTW! I've met Dave a few times and even did a Tone Talk episode with him a while back. He's one of the best builders in the industry IMO. I should figure out a way to do some kind of limited run with him!!

The humbuckers with that finish make it look like Filtertrons. Still think all black pickups with gold pearl humbucker rings and poker chip would have been a better option. I would take the back covers to make a pickup ring cover and poker chip, since it comes with alternative black covers. Awesome project.

What are the pros vs cons of a LP set neck vs bolt neck? In terms of sound, care less about tradition, if i wanted a Les Paul I will get a Les Paul. Really wish ya do neck tru, then ya would be Heaven on Earth lol.
