These are not universal for any Warn winch. There are two different Warn wireless remotes, one for truck winches and one for ATV/Trailer winches. They are grounded differently and cannot interchange. The truck one demonstrated here is plug-and-play. The one for the smaller winches has a multi-wire connection to the contactor. You must make sure you are getting the right remote for the trip winch you own.

did I hear you say you will have to reset it every time you use it?

Do you find after pairing and turning off the key to the vehicle but not unplugging the transmitter that you must re-pair the units??

Yes. You will need to pair them up every time you use them.

@@brpauto7313 how do I pair the remote? I followed your same steps but the remote doesn't seem to be talking to the receiver after I turn the receiver ON (red LED turns ON). Does the ignition key need to be on? The winch works because it operates intended when I connect the regular cable remote. Help pls

@@macutan Same issue with mine. Did you find a solution?

Mine winches in, but does not feed out when pushing the out button. Are you having that issue?

I think you’re not sure what a transmitter is. The piece you keep calling a transmitter is actually the receiver, the remote is the transmitter. Otherwise, good video 👍🏻
