These are awesome! I love the idea of quick detach scope rings. If your optic breaks when you need it and you wanna use back up iron sights or a red dot, the last thing you want is not being able to take off your scope without the tools you wont have on you.. even if you did have the tools, imagine trying to unscrew the scope off the rifle under pressure when bullets are flying lol a few seconds might be life and death when you most need them

I like these mounts for rifles with open sights on the barrel I’m going to put a set on my pre 64 model 70 Winchester 300 H&H

I'm looking into these for my Mossberg MVP. Which height did you end up getting?

Best bet (if already has holes only from D&T process,) is a vintage Weaver N4 or N5 side mount w/ a Leupold scope that isn’t “too thick” around the lenses, thus givibg you acess to the buck you see over the hill at 250+ yards via the scope! Then, when next season or sit, another deer or game species happens to suprisingly come within 75 yards of ur stand, you put cheeck weld that bad boy and iron sight it on the spot!! Simple as that! Most underated mounts or all time. Not a fan of the current side mounts that come as a base that gets drilled on the side, then second piece which is the ring mount, gets attached at an angle w/ 2 screw/pins to attach to originally screwed in base. I’ve used and like both, but upon comparison, the N4 and N5 are literally the exact/identical mount! 😂. However the N and even T series are full 100% 1 piece side mounts and not a 2 piece attachment, which in the long run, may possibly cause M.O.A. and accuracy issues from those 2 attachment pins loosening over tine.

Do these Warne quick release scope ring have to lap them to insure proper set up on a scope?
@WarneUSA2 жыл бұрын
There should be no need for lapping with these rings.

What’s the size/length of the bolt in the QR ring? I need to get a replacement. Thanks.

Did you email Warne? I’ve had a few minor issues over the last 20 years and Warne has always helped me out or sent out what I needed after emailing them.

Do the QD mounts have any issues with coming loose ?
@WarneUSA2 жыл бұрын
We have never heard of an issue from our customers. They just need to be thumb and forefinger tight and you should be good to go.

EXCELLENT

What you don't explain is how the rings came to be aligned with the slots on your rail before you torque the bottom screws. You just slapped them on and by some miracle they were aligned with the rail slots. Not so much in real life.
@WarneUSA2 жыл бұрын
Torquing the bottom screws on these rings does not fix the scope tube in place, and rings can be moved so they fit where the slots are. Note in the video how he tilted the scope a little to get one side claw against the rail aligning the key then dropped the whole thing into the slot.
