We got to test the Warne X-Skel QD for the first time yesterday in a hog hunt. It freaking rocks.

When noticing that the QD levers had thumb/hex head screws is noticed you got very excited and said "they rachet". I don't own one of these mounts but now I'm curious. Do they "ratchet" meaning they only go one way unless a separate button or lever is pushed to allow them to "ratchet" the other way (like the function of a ratchet)... Or are the just "detented" and click when turned a few degrees (like the turrets in a scope).?? Thank you for sharing. Great review.

Adding in the weight of the mounts would be a great detail when discussing a new item. Many are weight concerned.

Should compare to the LaRue C.A.N. which is $138.99 and you can choose (or swap) between 1 in, 30, 34, or 35 mm rings. I have 2 and they are fantastic. BTW love Warne and have 3 of their 20 MOA mounts... excellent quality but the versatility of the LaRue QR is pretty excellent

Can you do a review of the hu-du muzzlebrake? They claim 80-95% reduction of felt recoil and an increase of velocity of 50-75 fps. Sounds unbelievable

Can that mount be used on an bolt action as well, from AR to bolt? One scope to rifles?

Yes, but you'll need a very high cheek riser on the bolt-action rifle. And you'll probably have a significant different in point of impact between the two rifles. If you keep logs of your impact points, you can adjust the scope to compensate. Not optimal, but possible.

The IR devices sit on the rail and have no problems with retaining zero
