They have Scooby Doo, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Mortal Kombat. They have the entire HBO empire and catalog. They had talented filmmakers like Christopher Nolan in their staple of filmmakers. The fact that they couldn't properly leverage ALL of this into short and long-term success is utterly ridiculous. Nolan went to Universal. DC feels like it's in the gutter. LOTR and Game of Thrones are utterly diminished as brands. Harry Potter has a woke fanbase that hates it's creator for recognizing the difference between men and women. I think it is safe to say thar WB is fallen. I think it will be broken up and the various IP and pieces will be sold off to the highest bidder.

The three films most independent from Snyder (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Shazam) were the most profitable. Suicide Squad was a bit of an odd duck - it made a lot of money (like Batman v. Superman) but it was a very flawed movie suffering from studio interference.

What about “The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie”? They did pretty well back in June, but I haven’t seen it yet. It’s going to be in the US, because of the new production company, Ketchup Entertainment is getting the US rights to “The Day The Earth Blew Up” along with GFM Animation and WBA, and I hope it will save the company from the cancelled “Coyote Vs. Acme” movie.

Outside of their original programming and what they license from other companies, they have zero IPs of their own. It's funny, I think of Bruce Timm with this. He was instrumental in the creation of Batman the animated series some 30+ years ago, by many considered the definitive Batman, the legendary Kevin Conroy as the title role now passed on. That show was award winning and put Warner bros animation on the map. Now 30+ years on, you have warner bros failing as a studio, you have Bruce Timm being involved with the creation of this new batman show with gender bent Penguin and fat Renee Montoya calling this horseshit his greatest work allowing him "freedom to create like he never could before", and what ends up being produced is this garbage. I guess the spirit of the Mad Bomber is alive and active (the one character Bruce Timm played, mad toy collector who blew up buildings with his remote controlled toy cars with bombs) because now it's Warner bros that's bombing.

If you found Montoya fat you didn't watch the series or have no idea what a non anorexic woman looks like, she had an average normal body type. The only "woke" element was Penguin and she was a pretty brutal version killing her son to make a point. The tone is the same as BTA and the characters are well written, not woke written to only be their messages. I also have no problem with a creator changing/updating his own characters. Harley actually uses her psychology for her evil and she's less a hopeless victim of abuse and missguided love, although that last part could still happen. She's been written to be more in line or setup the version in Harley Quinn which makes sense. But hey like what you will, I know I do.

Maybe a major part of the problem is woke colleges programming because it seems like a big glut we have can’t be explained otherwise. To usually get a high position helps with a name of a major university on your resume and now companies are refusing to hire them. Radicalized students sent out and corporations fail big time.
