We spent a weekend at Warner Holme Lacy Hotel and had a great time. We were travelling with family and we all stayed in different styles of room. In this video we showcase a standard room on the ground floor with wheelchair access bathroom, a signature room with lift access and a historic room with garden view. Warners have very high standards. Very good accommodation, good standard & choice of food & good entertainment. I always choose a signature room. This Christmas I will be staying at Studley Castle.

Just returned from HL, lost count of the times we have visited but the place isn't what it was ore Covid. Food should be much better had to ask twice for a replacement cup as they were badly stained. We don't bother with the entertainment in the pavilion as its dire but there's a few good ones in the Blue Room. Signature rooms are good and the grounds are superb. The bar prices are high as is the coffee. They could do with a few more staff in the restaurant area too. .

Just to add that all Signature rooms have the bathrobes and the snacks; not just the historic ones. We always go to Warners for 7 nights if we can as they're such a long drive. Haven't found a reasonable priced break at Holme Lacy yet, but had a modern signature room for 7 nights at Bodelwyddan Castle 2 months ago. Are you going to do a video about the hotel itself? Thanks!

Paul and Carole, all of these rooms can be mistaken as any cruise ships’ cabins. Hope all of you enjoyed your land break. I’m off to Cricket St Thomas for Twixmas I’ve been celebrating religiously by smuggling my Lucy as usual. It’s meant for my early new year for easier request of my hol between the 2 big 1s. Holme Lacy would be my next year’s but the bigger co which has taken over my care agency won’t allow us to have any more annual leave in the 2nd half of Dec. So I’ve decided to celebrate both my birthday and new year in Jun by Shearings’ coach. I’ve booked Thorsby Hall next. June

My hubby, Paul by coincidence, keep thinking of trying Warner Hotels as an alternative to cruising. - looks great - as a same sex married couple, do you think that wouldn't be a problem?
