I get the distinct impression that this was far from the first 'take' of this scene, and Dean just wanted to get out of there and onto the nearest golf course!!🏌⛳️

Okay, I'll admit it was "Family Guy" that introduced me to this fabulous song. And what's wrong with that? The wonderful music is one of the things that made the show so endearing-at least for the first few seasons. If "Family Guy" could take a bunch of obscure but wonderful songs, like this one, and reintroduce them to a new audience, thus sparking an interest in seeing the original source material, then I say that "Family Guy" must have been doing something right!

Perhaps. I just happen to know the source material for a number of the songs used in the show and because I realize that not all the songs are originally written for the show it makes me curious about the ones that aren't, such as this one. I personally cannot fault Walter Murphy for his arrangements and musical selections because he already won me over years ago back in the ancient disco '70's with "A Fifth Of Beethoven", a discofied version of the first movement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony that became a huge disco hit!

Thank you, Family Guy, for once more, showing me a great movie through a reference.

Gotta love Family Guy for all the great throwback references. Not as many shows reference old movies like this. Someone at Family Guy is clearly a fan of 50-60s cinema

I was only familiar with the Family Guy version until one afternoon when I switched on the TV and this film was on. This song caught me off guard!

A musica cantada por eles é horrível. Tem falta de ritmo, desafina imenso e, se não soubesse a letra de Family Guy, nem percebia nada.
