I would be cool with it if that movie is a Young Justice x RWBY instead. After all, all the main characters are young and with superpowers (except Robin and Artemis). Plus I can imagine Artemis as a fox faunus with a semblance that can disappear and reappear like a ninja in the Remnantverse (that's what I called the RWBY universe). @@thatguyinamask9789 I think the various conflicts and set up could've benefited IMMENSELY from a longer time frame. A few more scenes featuring cyborg's rivalry with Ren. Some more fight scenes with Bruce to further bring home just how much stronger his new powers make him. Some discussions with Weiss about how he feels about his new powers. *SPOILERS AHEAD!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!* Compare these plot points to the ones that actually have more time dedicated to them. Clark showing up Ruby as a leader due to his experience and her resulting feelings of inadequacy (This Ruby is pre volume 9). The set up to the reveal that Kilg%re is the villain and that he's possessing Barry. These are all handled pretty well because there was time dedicated to them. It's not even a matter of bad writing, they just didn't have the time to give. Personally, I think they did great with what they had to work with.

After this movie I realized now on why Volume or Season 9 of RWBY didn't show that much regular characters. It's a budget and schedule thing for the company and actors since it seems Rooster Teeth was the one who made the animation of this movie. Nice how they used the "Ever After" arc to solve that problem. Looking forward to RWBY Vol. 10.

Spoilers for non rwby fans: Yang has her robo arm but ruby remembered the fall of beacon. Blake is still a part of the white fang but sienna Kahn is dead, which happened after she went rogue. The Atlas comms are down which only happened after beacon fell, yet the Shnee function seems to not be as worried as the volume 4 party. And of course, Team Rwby is wearing volume 1 gear when they have post volume 3 memories. The timeline is wrong, so it's either a matrix world, a mind realm from a dc villain, some other fake worldbuilind.
