For years I thought most of those simple introduce a character shot were pure CGI, but no, their puppets and it's incredible. I can't believe that Aragog was in fact a physical character on screen so to speak.

I love every single creature of the Harry Potter series :D. The directors and all the team made such an awesome job in giving life to them! The creatures feel like they are real and not fake. Hats down! 🙂🎩

Those creatures (not Buckbeak) have scared the living daylights out of me including that dragon from the Goblet of Fire. But today, and now, this video does make sense on how they make them. Although it must’ve been hard work on creating them, as no wonder most of the movies were left out Oscar nominated.

I've always been interested in this kind of stuff, and wanted to work with stuff like this is there a place I can go to learn about this?
