Dear Fr Warner, thank you for your beautiful teaching on St Mary Magdalene, one of the greatest saints of the Bible & a legendary example of God's grace & mercy. We learn 3 important lessons from St Mary - her 'faithfulness' by staying with Jesus till the end, when most of His followers abandoned Him, her 'courage' by remaining with Him during His Crucifixion, & being a 'witness' & sharing the good news of Christ's resurrection. Have a lovely holiday Fr, especially the opportunity to see the beauty of the Hagia Sofia. Happy Feast & God bless you always 🙏 💕

Thank you Fr.Warner for your inspirational and enlightening reflection on Mary Magdalene. Having been the recipient of the mercy of Jesus, her life took a complete U turn and she was a faithful follower of Jesus till the end - standing at the foot of the Cross. Like Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene was chosen and blessed among women. She was the first to meet the Risen Lord. Jesus chose her to be the proclaimer of the Good News and she rightly testified to this. Her strong faith and belief made her, beyond doubt, emphatically proclaim to the apostles, 'I have seen the Lord', thereby completing the Easter narrative. Jesus raised her to an apostle and gave her instructions to be conveyed to the apostles. She has been further raised by Pope Francis to be 'an apostle to the apostles'. Let us emulate the faith and bold proclamation of Mary Magdalene and in staunch faith and belief proclaim the Good News that JESUS HAS RISEN. God bless you and keep you safe. Enjoy your trip. Praying for you and your family.

Thank you Fr.Warner for the spiritually uplifting reflection and the deep insight into the life of St.Mary Magdalene. She was an individual who experienced a Complete U Turn through Jesus' guidance and empathy. She was there as a faithful disciple throughout especially on the day of the Crucifixion. She was the first who saw Jesus after His Ressurecton and the first individual given the task of telling telling the apostles that he had Risen. May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner.God bless you Fr.Warner.🙏

Very happy to know Fr. Warner, that you are visiting the historical city of Istanbul. Just recently a friend of mine was in Turkey and sent me pictures of the place where Mother Mary spent her last earthly years. Do visit it and tell us how you felt there.

Happy Feast of Mary Magdalene Fr. Warner. Though it is not recorded in any of the Gospels, I am sure that Jesus must have first appeared to his blessed Mother Mary.

The lovely red seat reminds us of the mercy seat of God 💺😍 The reference to the Hagia Sophia in the teaching raised the ears of my eager son as he loves cathedral architecture and next was googling it to build it with his Lego 😊 Let all knowledge lead them to God eventually 🙏 HV a lovely trip Fr.

Perhaps what i say next may not be appreciated by many. And ofcourse as Jesus's children we are not called to be people pleasers. Phew! 🥰🙏✨🕊️ Fact is: In Jesus's ministry, women were welcome and are welcome..women were an important part of Christ sharing the message of his Father. And yet owing to patriarchy in today's time, women are somehow disallowed from being clergy. No one says because Judas who betrayed Jesus was a man, men are 'marked' as betrayers and therefore cant be priests, but somehow Eve's actions become for some cause to deny women the right to priesthood in Catholic churches, and ofcourse others find other excuses and reasons none convincing or real. And truth is; this is not just an affront to women but to Jesus's ministry and to his vision and how he saw his teachings spread. Now in todays time, yet again we are reminded that you will not have many "men" sign up in the coming times to be clergy, but many women who are called by Jesus will rise up and the church if paying heed to Jesus's word will open up to include women as clergy. Happy feast of St Mary Magdalene. 🙏✝️🛐🕊️💫 May she make it possible and ensure rbe catholic churches give up their close heartedness and open up to include women as clergy, as Jesus had shown by example in his ministry here on earth before his Ascension. 🙏✝️🛐🕊️💫
