Dear Fr Warner - Advent comes with the promise of hope in the midst of despair & the knowledge that God loves us. As we navigate the challenges of our daily lives, may we trust God & ask Him to give us perfect peace. May we become channels of peace spreading love, kindness & reconciliation to a world hungry for Jesus' presence. Both the readings refer to God as our rock - for me He is my safety & security, the place I run to when my life is falling apart. Thank you for your valuable teaching Fr. We need to place our faith and trust in God and focus on Jesus, and we will get the necessary protection and courage to face our enemies and our hardships The desire for perfection very often takes us away from peace.
