I literally went here in July of last year. It was one of or if not the saddest things I’ve seen. Seeing the clothes, the hair of the people, the chamber where they got killed. It was saddening. As the tourist took us to the actual camp, it was soo scary looking and I remember hearing a scream in the distance that shook me. It’s sad how those people were tricked into thinking they’re leaving their lives for a better one just to get killed upon arrival. Sad.

It's the kind of quiet that makes your ears hurt. I haven't been there but I visited Dachau in Germany in 1996. These places where so much suffering and so much death happened need to be remembered and preserved so man kind will never be able to forget what went on here. You can also feel the lost souls. No birds chirping, voices from your guides are low and respectful the only sound for all to here is the footsteps on the gravel. I was brought to Dachau in a highschool group was completely shocking. The silence that carried us on to the busses after we completed the tour you could of heard a pin drop on carpet. It opened my eyes to haterid on a whole different scale. It's been 28 years now and I still remember as if it was yesterday.

Very nicely done. These walk through videos by content creators are becoming more and more important, because as time goes on there is less and less formal teaching about the Holocaust in the classroom. I'm trying to recall my social studies class where it was talked about, and I think it was just a broad stroke overview in the context of the history of WW2. I doubt it even comprised one full class on it, specifically. For a lot of people, these episodes that show up on the channels of popular content creators are really the only major exposure to the history of this dark chapter that really does need to be remembered.

The knowledge I’ve just gained from this is unreal . Thank you for taking the time to give that amount insight. Truly horrifying. I’d like to take a minute minute to give thoughts and prayers to all of those innocent life’s lost .And the endless pain and suffering that their family’s have to go through life with. Those pictures show that the children knew what their fate was going to be . All those shoes , bags ,photos . All those people conned into thinking they were heading for a better life 🥺. All those parents that knew their children along with them selfs were going to be killed . The stealing of personal items, is the least shocking part although I do hope some of those of those items whether they be photos sentimental items or valuables made it back to the right families . I no it’s the least of any ones worries it just dosent sit right with me along with everything else I’ve heard today. I knew there was people who hid Jewish people …although I had no idea about the famous/ freedom fighters . Or the fact there was anyone one other than Jewish people killed . Maximum respect to those who risked their life’s to help /hide others . 😢🙌🏽🙏🏽

Ace, your videos are always educational and are just as good as reading a book. I felt your reaction when you said war is crazy. Lord, have mercy. I admire your fortitude. The fact that you travel all over the diaspora alone as an African Man gives me inner strength.

Great video Ace!! Thanks for going to Auschwitz and showing the concentration camp. So much happened during WW2, so much! Your video also showed the cruelty of man and just how evil and cruel man can be. What was also impactful, as you had pointed out, were the drawings of the children and what they were feeling as they saw the horrors of war. Thanks for the video and for going to the location.

This was so heartbreaking and soul crushing to watch. It’s a sad and dark reality to what people filled with hate are capable of. I know you must have felt so drained and heavy being there in that place. May the Lord give all those victims peace and rest.

Thank you for taking us on this tour. Not only did people of Jewish heritage lose their lives but also others of non-Jewish heritage. We say to never forget BUT we have already forgotten. This theme of extermination for a cause has continued to happen up til this very day, exp: Pol Pot - Khmer Rouge, Guatamala, North Somalia, Rwanda and others. Blessings to all of those who's lives were taken due to the Ego of man.
