"Twenty-two years... you have never once told a short story." 🤣🤣🤣 I'm the queen of (not) short stories in my family. Love your skits! Thanks for the laughs. On the serious side, I so appreciate your content. These are great tips. Thank you for creating such an informative (& fun) video.

This was so helpful. I absolutely love all the tips and tricks I love watching your videos for content and humor. Always get so happy when a new one comes out. Thank you so much for the long belly laugh you and your hubby gave me with the “long story”… lol.. I had to watch twice just to see it again and get another laugh in. As always thank you!!

Great info, Lisa! Also the last video about photographing artwork was very informative as well. I get my prints made through MPix. I think their quality is excellent and price is reasonable.

You were too kind with VistaPrint. I get e-mails daily; sometimes twice per day! 😆 Thanks for the recommendations for various vendors of different mediums. You're not alone when talking too much about your reef tank. I can spend hours talking about mine; but I know my wife has a very short attention span and I need to make it quick and direct to the point.

Lisa, great video. I don't sell my art, but this was super interesting to see the behind-the-scenes process for artists. Look into getting your prints, postscards done through Bay Photo. Their fine art prints (select Fine Art Prints when ordering) are done on professional grade papers with pigment-based inks, so they're 100% archival and lightfast (for postcards you can ask that they'd be cut to size in the special instructions). You can also get your prints done on canvas (select aqueous - printed with same inks as the Fine Art Prints).

You are an art goddess. Thank you for these tips!! I have needed advice like this for so long but couldn’t find good advice because it didn’t come from an artistic lens. So, thank you!!! Also, that’s cool your mom likes puzzles!

I'm gonna say that the manual mode with automatic focus for art work is awesome. I think that I'll take my work on manual mode. I do have photoshop on my desktop but not lightroom. Is Lightroom free or not? I won't be able to spend money each month just to have a program on my desktop. I do find annoying that program go for monthly or annually subscription and not a full payment to get the program forever.

Lightroom is part of the adobe suite so you have to pay for it monthly

My camera shoots in RAW2. I can find no free software that can deal with it. Bah. It's something I wish I'd learned about before I bought the camera. Lightroom would probably take care of it but I'm in the dopey position of wanting to make sure I make money off my future art before paying a set ransom to Adobe.

Lisa, I primarily paint digitally. I usually just send the client a file and have them print it, but that's like making them work! lol Do you think a Giclee print is what I should be offering them, or is there another type that would be better? I also have a FAA and Redbubble site, but that's mainly for wildlife as I paints pets, also. Thanks for the info!

thank you for this video great tips! I hope it's not rude to ask/mention this but did you change something about your background music / voice volume settings? I usually have no problems to understand you speaking but this time I really had difficulties sometimes :(

Lots of great info, thank you! I need to make the move from Photoshop Elements to Lightroom! One request: please kill the background music in videos like this with lots of great verbal info. Maybe it's a middle-aged hearing thing but it is super distracting!

What do you mean by shooting in the raw?
@SerenWen_art2 жыл бұрын
RAW is a file type that a digital SLR can save the image as, it has a more information that a .jpeg which means you can do more adjustment in lightroom (or photoshop), but this does mean the file size is bigger.
