@@kidtokai1326 You're kind of stinging the details, it's obvious that Ayaka's ambition was at the peak when she dueled Ayato (Because she wanted to help her but he didn't want her to help) The cryo vision holders have 1 thing in common, they do the opposite of what they were meant to do (ex. Chongyun is a exorcist who has never seen a ghost, Diona is a bartender who doesn't like alcohol) And in the moment of this duel she wanted to help her brother, instead of being the sheltered daughter of the kamisato clan, sitting behind her brother, he faught him so they can stand in the same stage and help eachother's burdens. Unless you can name a different time where her ambition was at her peak I don't know what to say.

I think that was her mother, rather than Ayato. Ayato doesn't have that hair plaits (idk what it's called, but it's like Kiana hair) while her mother had if she untied her hair.

That was very beautiful and deeply meaningful. The amount of emotion they were able to convey in both the animation and music was absolutely amazing work on HoYo's end. Ayaka's monologue about what keeps her going is very touching and reminiscent. Another masterpiece done by Hoyoverse. Looking forward to similar shorts from them in the future!

If you watch CN version, in public, Ayaka calls Ayato "xiongzhang" (very formal/respectful way of calling her brother), but in private, she calls him "gege" (less formal/very endearing way). This shows that even though the siblings respect each other, they are also very close. Ayato took over the clan head position when they were young and lost their parents, he must have tried to balance the work of a commisioner and taking care of a grieving younger sister

It's always been Ayato's wish to shelter Ayaka from the cruelty of this world. He wants her to have true friends (that's why he did what he did during the festival). However, it's also Ayaka's wish to lessen the burnden on her brother's shoulders since let's not forget, Ayato became the clan head at the young age as well. I just love the fond/proud look on Ayato's face. He was there for her public debut, the sibling bond is so cute

I love how in this trailer, ayaka says, "still like the morning dew, swift like lightning", which references ayato and then inazuma, because she hasn't gotten her vision yet.. and then her character trailer kinda mirrors it with the line "be quick as lightning, cold as ice", in reference to inazuma and then her vision. probably reading unnecessarily far into it, but I thought it was kinda neat how having the order be water -> lightning and then lightning -> ice makes it seem like it's adding on to the list (so it mentions ayato, inazuma, then herself), as opposed to having ice /replace/ water... it's probably at least partially just because it sounds better in that order lol I just realised also, at 10:02, isn't the stance ayato is in pretty much exactly ayaka's burst animation? aaah and the transition at 14:01 from the image of her mother almost crystallizing into the cryo particles is so good, and also representative of how she pushed on to become better/match and support her brother in her parents' memory... also how that memory gives her strength just like a vision literally gives you power I HAD A SUDDEN THOUGHT at 14:10, for some reason this just made me think of that scene with siegfried holding shamash in blade form?? I mean it's probably just a common stance but that image just came barreling into my mind another random thought, the shot at 17:23 kind of reminds me of the end of kokomi's character teaser? idunno, maybe something about them both looking for/finding their place and what role they play? somehow every ayaka and ayato trailer/teaser/cutscene always gets me emotional at some point.. must be the "being a sibling effect" (lol just kidding, but seeing their sibling dynamic always makes me super happy)

Honestly got me a little bit emotional since I’m the youngest and it’s tough seeing your older sibling carrying most of the burden. I’m so glad I have Ayaka and Ayato together in game now. Actually Ayaka's Cryo is special, it has Sakura Petals. If you have her Ascension Amatsumi Kunitsumi Sanctification, she will have Sakura petals effects on her. I think her C6 also has Sakura Petals effects

I feel like Ayato saw his sister started to gain cryo abilities but not fully manifested her vision. So he used his own hydro vision to trigger her cryo vision. Like you said in one of your videos, her cryo is being supported by hydro just like the way Ayaka is being supported by her brother - Ayato.

I really hate that the translation and adaptation to English is inaccurate. That Ayaka says "Ayato" seems very strange to me, impossible for Ayaka's character, in that video she calls him "brother" 哥哥, but in Ayato's pv she calls him 兄长 which also means brother but it is a more formal way. I know that this is not a problem nor is it terrible but I feel that part of the meaning of the dialogues is lost in the translation, the same thing happened with the conversation between kokomi and Yae, the translation lost some details. I think in the survey I will talk about this

Not a misadaptation it's more to have it make sense in English In English that's automatically implied through just the name being spoken What matters is the Tonality and English natives change the Tonality based on the situation It's never consistent the way Spanish, Japanese, Chinese etc is Which is why sometimes it comes off as rude even though it's not 😁
