This is amazing news 🎉 - 3 of my kids and I are going there in one month to spend 3 nights at the bottom - taking poles in hopes for catching a few. Is the big river fishable at all in that area? And curious about the creek that comes up by indian gardens too.

The big river is fishable from a few spots. The creek is subject to National Park electric shocking of the fish in Bright Angel Creek. The creek at Indian Gardens doesn’t have any fish that I have heard of.

The fish they shock and trap are taken to Indian reservations to help feed the people on them. Not so bad when you know that.
