God did not break His covenant, but He made a new one. It was prophesied in Jeremiah 31:31-34. Christ established it in His own blood (Hebrews 8:6-13 & 10:11-18). The old covenant has ended. The modern state existing today is not the children of God. Only those in Christ are (Galatians 3:7, 27-29).
