The modern Palestinians are a mix of all the different people's and cultures (not just Arabs) that invaded the land of Israel after the diaspora. The Palestinians are not a nation so to speak, but an aglomerate of peoples as I mentioned. The Palestian leadership does not want a 2 state solution, their actions show clearly an intention of replacing the more than legitimate Jewish state with a Palestinian one, which will never happen, of course.

The Plishtim,as they are called in the Bible, actually headed to Egypt to conquer the land which was very prosperous. They sailed to the Nile delta and south to the capital of Egypt at that time which was Memphis. Merneptah, who was the king at the time, fought the Plishtim and he says that they almost defeated him. He had no idea who they were and as they came in boats from the sea he called them "Goyey Hayam" which means the nations of the sea. All that was written on a stone tablet which was found in Egypt and it depicts the battles between the Egyptians and the people who came from the sea. The tablet is called The Merneptach tablet. As they lost the war against Egypt, they traveled to the coast of Cannan and settled there. They established the 5 cities of Aza, Ashdod , Ashkelon Gat and Ekron. In the bible, the Plishtim are called many times the people of the sea. So here you have another proof that Plishtim came from Crete or other islands in the vicinity. The proof is from an outer source not just from the Bible. They are definitely not Arabs. The Palestinians are the greatest HOAX ever invented in the 20th century by the murderer and terrorist Yasser Arafat.

My father and grandfather were archeologists. I have read their publications on the history of the holy land, the Roman era, bronze and even earlier. My grandfather did excavations near the caves of Kumran and literally found his own ancestor (he did not know this at that time as the genome project only recently confirmed the genetic roots) right there. The information provided on this episode can be found in many historical literature, research, ancient documents, etc. Romans were very good at documenting events, economy, military, political and at archiving them. A good example is Pontius Pilate. His scribe documented many events surrounding the life of Pilate. Pilate sent letters to his "bosses" informing them of what was happening during his term. In some of those letters, he described in detail what Jesus/Yeshua looked like. What Pilate and Jesus talked about long prior to his arrest. For a long time, people did not believe that Pilate existed. That he was only a "character" in the Bible. Archeologists found a small amphitheatre in which Pilate's name was carved on a marker stone to indicate who was the politician and government official at that time. Ancient Roman coins, mentioned in the bible, from the time of Jesus/Yeshua were found in Jerusalem. Read the book "the case for Christ" written by Lee Patrick Strobel. The more he tried to prove that Christ did not exist, the more he proved that Jesus/Yeshua was there. In short, the more people try to prove that Jews were not in the area in ancient times, the more they will prove that they were indeed there. My dad always asked concerning history, "Who's history is it?" Really made me think about it. The one book we can trust is the bible. Thank you Israel My Channel for using the bible as your source. I just told my husband this the other day. I didn't know about the Philistine part, but knew that Rome renamed the area after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD. The first lie is that Palestinians claim to descend from Philistines which is completely untrue, in fact they claim that they descend from Canaanites and the genetic research proves this to be true. The land was called Palestine long before the Romans occupied it and the historian Herodotus proves this in his own books. The Palestinians get their name from the land which got it's name from the Philistines but there is very little direct connection to Philistines. Meanwhile modern-day Jews have no real ancestry in the land of Palestine. The Palestinians are the real indigenous inhabitants going back over 5000 years.

Too many people this day in age are unwilling to put effort into educating themselves and jump on the bandwagon and falling for all the lies. Let's hope this will reach those people and hopefully wake some of them up. I served in the military because as a child I studied WWII and the words "Never again" shaped me to be who I am today (and were the exact reason why I wanted to serve). I spent my own personal time studying and learning the history of the Jewish people, of the land, and world politics in general because I chose not to be ignorant and just love to learn history. I don't expect everyone to study as much as I did, but to learn some of this does not require a lot of effort, yet it still seems people are too lazy to even put the slightest bit of effort into anything these days. I married an Israeli and have had the pleasure to visit Israel with her 3 times within the last decade and loved every trip and look forward to the next. The most important thing we all need to remember in these tough times to help stay positive is that the Jewish people (even though they have been the most persecuted people in the history of humanity) have persevered and are the most resilient people. Every single empire that tried to harm the Jewish people are all long gone and are nothing but pages in history books while the Jewish people thrive today and are stronger than they have ever been. I am not a historian or an archaeologist, yet that's exactly my basic knowledge about this matter that i simply learnt at school, beginning from middle school. So that i am still astonished how much history is taught already twisted because of ideological reasons nowadays. I'll just point out one thing though: similarly to what it's mentioned here about the "palestinians", it's true that many jews living now in Israel have probably the most ancient link with that land, but it's equally true that many others that went to live there nowadays have a totally different and divers ancestry. They became jews way back in history but are different from the jewish people. Either way they also have fully right to live there now imo.

The Roman Empire wanted to make the Jewish people Angry and had named the Holy Land Palistine. I know it lasted for quite awhile into the 1900's. My dad's sister named her firstborn son JC Palistine ..which was supposed to honor her son by what the Holy Land was called at that time. I never knew my cousins middle name bc he was much older than I. I looked up his obit online and just about fell over. I couldn't believe she had named him that.
