biggest warning sign people can ignore is if someone changes who they are for no reason. for instance if someone you kick it with everyday distances himself from you for no reason, somethings up. either he has beef, or someone else is after you and he wants no part of it. or if someone you never talk to or never kick it with is friendly for no reason, offering you a cup of coffee ect, watch your back. no one is nice out of the blue in prison for no reason

@@RogueBoyScout Respect, in most cases...especially in prison, is fear. You are right that, in some circumstances...outside of prison, there is something called "admiration". It's the "respect" you get when others want what you have. Of course, that admiration often turns to jealousy (especially if you live with or are always near that person). Then, the person you are jealous of can only maintain your "respect" through fear.

That part you were saying about someone asking you to "go talk to dude in that cell" I relate to 100%. I was 18 when I did my first bid of 3 years. I remember I was just chillin in the dayroom minding my own business drinking a cup of coffee in the morning at a table and this black dude came up to me and said that shit. Me, being 18 and naive, didn't think anything of it. I got up to the door and homeboy was in there and he had 2 of his boys behind me. Turns out I was being accused of stealing a deck of cards, which I didn't. Tried to tell him that but he wasn't hearing it. One of his homeboys behind me was like "oh, you better give my dawg his fade bruh..blah blah blah" next thing I know I was getting pushed in the cell. Not much I could do. I got pushed in and got in a few hits on dude and then just got mollywhopped with a padlock on a laundry bag. Split my shit wide open and I was bleeding everywhere getting jumped by 3 big ass black dudes for no reason. I remember just balling up and laying in the corner of the bottom bunk so they couldn't really get me too bad and just kicking them away. One of them grabbed my leg and dragged me out onto the floor. I got kicked and stomped on a few times and then it was over. They let me up to go "clean up." I go to my cell and of course, I've been robbed of my shit. At this point I was just pissed off about getting jumped for no reason so I got up on the tier and called out anyone who wanted to get in the paint, still a bloody mess. No one took me up on for whatever reason but man I was ready to take a head off. Little did these dudes know, I had a couple homeboys that were lifers who were also pissed about what happened. The next day one of my boys asks me what happened and I told him. I was about to get out so he said don't worry about it. He starts fumbling with his waist band and rolls out a piece and tells me to point them out, which I did. Man, those dudes got poked the fuck up like I've never seen and one dude got his stomach slashed open by a razor on a toothbrush. The most brutal shit I've still ever seen. What an experience. I tell people about shit like this who never been and they can't believe it but it literally happens every day on the compound.

Most of the facilities are new, so there's no place to sneak someone. Very little violence in most of our institutions. Most of it happens in our old jails, like Huntington. I never went to the pen., but when I was a young man I went to jail. What fucked me up about that experience that made me change my life was I thought it was going to be like in the movies and I'd have to watch my back 24/7 and sleep with one eye open. What in fact happened when I walked in was it wasn't a question did I know anyone. It was a question of who the fuck didn't I know in there? lol Not proud of that fact, but I mean it was like that scene in Goodfellas where we all shared a cell together and not gonna lie I had a blast locked up playing poker for smokes and shit and it occurred to me. I should not be having this much fun locked the fuck up. Lmao!!!! :D All kidding aside because I knew I was going to be a Father it was at that time and moment I realized I had to change my life around entirely. I began to question what kind of person was I that I knew and was in tight with the entire jail? So after my release I did what I had to do to get out of that life and paid any dues I needed to pay and cashed out. I never looked back since and never once regretted it. My advice to you young fellas is simply this. Easy money always comes with a high price. Legit money you never end up paying a price for it and you will never have to look over your shoulder. And those of you that already have kids trust me the pay off on getting to see yours grow up is more then well worth it. Best of luck in making the right choice. :)

It's cool your providing important information to people especially those who are on there way in for the first time and things like lacing up those shoes, yea, if you don't know well now they know. Again I like what your doing keep it up and you got a new subscriber. Hope you have a good day today man. Looking forward to checking out your other videos. Anyway peace out bro!

I went to prison in 1979....got out in 2003......but it was a southern prison...they didn't use free world guards...inmates run the prison....they were turn keys and building tenders...they worked directly for the wardens and the building majors. Only four types of free world guards...wardens, building majors, lieutenants and sergeants. The prison blocks were separated....they had what was called Hoe Squads. These inmates went out into the fields each day and worked 100's of acre's of crops...they were assigned to hoe squads. Twenty men to a squad....we rode out in wooden wagons pulled by a gigantic tractor. And after we unloaded from a wagon we were required to run up to wagon specially equipped with bins that held each squad's hoes. Our squad's were numerically numbered...I was assigned in No. 1 Hoe squad...this squad was used to set the pace for all the other squads. You caught in on a row....and you took off down that row almost at a run....cleaning every weed from drill to drill between those rows. You didn't want to miss any grass, that guard would ride up behind you and let his horse bite you. Or he'd holler " Hey ole thang, get your ass back here and get my grass ". If you continued to miss grass, he'd hand cuff you to the pommel of his saddle and drag your ass all over that field. In the building inmates cliqued up....by race....the Mexicans, the Whites, and the blacks. But when they decided that they wanted to riot all those racial lines disappeared and we all stood for one cause against the man. But after 1983, federal courts made sweeping changes removing the inmate guards and eliminated over crowded conditions. Then the conditions of the prison order changed....my whole time in the joint, was done " by myself " no gang related bullshit...oh I was approached by gang members about joining their gangs. But I never caved into that shit. I had a prison job in the boiler room after I spent 5 years working in the fields. I stayed mostly in the boiler room where I had a night operators job. I made home made booze from pie cherries and yeast rolls yeast and sugar. We had 12 men assigned to the boiler room on three shifts and we made us a home made washing machine, we made us a single man shower, we cooked meals on hot plates that trusties brought in from out of the prison dump. We had an elaborate kitchen system that connected to the boiler room by way of an ice machine dump hatch into the ice room of the kitchen. At that time the guards were on the take..." we called them mules ". Because they packed in our free world stuff for cash. Marijuana was at a high premium and it got stashed quite a bit in the boiler room so we would pinch the quantities of stuff that came in. And used the marijuana for getting all our supplies smuggled from the kitchen.

Let people grow pot at home, legalise organic opium conditionally, let people chew coca leaf and the entire slave labour prison system collapses. All the gangs guy's go home, the blacks. whites and Mexicans all become family, democracy is restored, and the mafia, Nazis and false religion collapse into dust.

Lot of people in the comments saying things like dont go to prison then, or why would people want to watch this type of videos, so on so forth. Well i will put it like this, sometimes people end up making mistakes and choosing to hang out with the wrong people, hell alot of people have ended up in prison just for being caught with someone who had commited a crime recently. And yes prison can be avoided but to sit there and bash on others that may have ended up there due to whatever circumstances is just not right. And as far as why people watch these types of video's? Some are here to seek advice because they may be headed to prison soon, and want to be prepared so they dont end up getting there ass beat, or maybe even killed over something petty that they could have avoided. And then there are some like myself who watch these videos not only for the knowledge but to just get a different outlooks of life and what goes on around us. I appreciate all the effort you put into your videos @lockdown 23and1 and I hope that you continue to spread the knowledge

Something I've always wondered. I'm handicapped in that I cannot walk without my cane, and even then not very far, and the fastest I can move is a very slow walk. So the questions I have is, how are handicapped people treated in prison? I mean, if someone told me "go put on your shoes", I hope they'd give me a good 10 minutes or so to do it! I honestly doubt the prison would let me keep my cane and make me use a chair instead, so I'd have absolutely no way of defending myself. Would I be taken advantage of?
@layyouin68605 жыл бұрын
Tim Hill depends. Probably not though as picking on someone who can't fight back, like someone in a wheelchair, is looked down upon. But you also can't be running your mouth off and expect nothing to happen.
@MonsterFenway5 жыл бұрын
Its almost an unwritten rule on the inside that handicapped or disabled people are off limits to fight with. It makes you a punk to fight someone who cant defend them selves. But if you run up debts and dont pay or become a rat being disabled wont save your ass.

Can you make a video of the psychological effects prison long term has impacted you in the free world, and what one has to deal with, maybe on day to day situations? Also the psychology and how diverse it is to each individual... like, my brother is breaking down, but that's because he had preexisting bipolar/ anxiety. I was wondering, since a lot of these guys tend to cope, and quite well, wondered if that had to do with the preexisting hardened heart. But what about those who have always had a hardened heart.. do you find the people that break down aren't necessarily soft or weak, but have deeper understanding and clarity, and maybe what some people might consider weak also know what the outside norms are, and this is a total shell shock that they are stuck with. On the other hand, people that just blend right end either except their fate or have given up a part of their heart and soul to survive, and that transformation will last the rest of their life. Like reentering society is like shell shock similar to coming back from war. You're thrown into a world where you are so changed from the prison experience at this point, that they feel lost, like relearning how to walk, they relearn how to function in a society.. then the setbacks of hardships of finding work sometimes, may harden them even more... in my opinion, vicious cycle and reform or at least an effort is needed. Look at these prisons from the netherlands... that's an amazing documentary. Sad part is, they will never be the same... then comes the identity crisis and loss of hope. I've tried to help someone through this, but this shit is so complicated... just let it be and be there for them. Hope is the only thing we really have. Once that's gone... anyway, video on this, please? Thanks for your time

the only time youre getting your store stolen is usually if you have a bad beef ( rapist,child molester or abuser), and Id say the biggest thing to watch out for is the dings, ppl with mental illness lol which is probably 30%. then you have probably 40% addiction issues, 15% sex offenders, 5% good ppl that just screwed up and 10% ppl that just weren't ever taught any better. Don't talk to the CO's, stay off the phones forget about the streets do your time and make the best of it. Educate yourself while you are locked up, and hit the weights. Just stay positive and focus yourself on repairing the problems that got you put there. the worst part about going to prison is losing the fear of going to prison that's real talk. And if you have ever done county time believe me its 10 times worse than prison, Id do 6 months in prison before I did 3 in county.

Cameron Angel - Why do so many Americans think rape rooms are so funny. Our prisons are RAPE ROOMS. None of the shit this man is talking about and exposing would be happening if it weren't being allowed by the people running the prison systems. We went to war in Iraq over rape rooms with our American pious sanctimony and self righteousness ...then we laugh about the rape rooms here in our own country. The hypocrisy is so vile in the eyes of GOD that it's a lake of fire offense. Why ....why are so many people these days so cold hearted and evil ...then we think we are good with the LORD. We are commanded to NEVER, EVER at any time to celebrate evil ....yet we as americans do it so much that we convinced ourselves we are righteous before God. We are not a righteous people ....we are the very same people God put to death by a global flood 4,500 years ago. The prophecies even state that it would be in the latter days just as it was before God flooded the earth. We are the very same people God burned with fire and brimstone at Sodom and Gomorrah. ....and I'm also talking about people who "praise the lord" every Sunday ...and every day during the week ad nauseam ..
