100% agree! The DMCA takedowns are getting out of hand. If Downloader's web browser feature was the issue, then Google Chrome should also be removed from the Play Store.

I make copy of all the firestick apk's to a cloud storage which I can access on X plore. I've always done this. In case Amazon every remove apps.

as long as you can enable adb you can always sideload apps , even if they block the original package name you can repackage it to a different name , or you can put on usb , access from media server etc , there is always ways , so i am not worried at all

This affects google devices like the Nvidia v Shield. It is removed from the Google Play Store. Amazon uses a different app store.

Hey, Doc! I have been using 'Downloader' (ver. 1.4.4) for some time ... with lots of important (re-labeled) FAVORITES saved. 1.) Can I download the '1.4.5' version on top of it successfully (WITHOUT LOSING all my existing Favorites)? 2.) If I have to delete my current version FIRST, I see no option to 'backup/restore' ... like in Setting of most movie/tv apps. So what can I do??? 3.) I do NOT currently have a desktop or laptop Windows computer, if that might be a way to a solution. I only have 'Remote ADB Shell' and the File Managers, 'MiXplorer' and 'X-plore' on my 🔥-TV stick, currently ... should they be helpful. Please let me know. I like to use most recent versions of apps, but if I can't retain my Favorites, it probably isn't worth it (especially as I don't know exactly WHAT was upgraded!). TIA! Keep up the great work!

bro, just 2 hours ago i opened my brand new firestick max, plugged it in, set it up and installed downloader via the playstore as per usual without issue... i live in australia so maybe its a regional thing???
