@Tainted Saint Theres a difference in veganism and vegetarianism. Vegans exclude all meats, poultry,dairy, eggs, etc.. whereas vegetarian diets may include eggs, dairy, and fish to name a few

Placing an aluminium foil on top doesn't work for some airfryers which vortexes the foil upwards into the heating element

Going to try this tonight! Much easier than cooking with oil. I know its safe to use with food but is it safe to consume food sprayed with non stick spray?

I don't think it's necessarily harmful, but I also don't think spraying the onion with non stick spray is a good idea. It doesn't add anything to the recipe. My recommendation is that you rather spray it with some cooking oil to help it crisp better

It's more miss than hit with deep fried foods in an air fryer. The spray and blow off the flour, the oil won't absorb into the flour.

I bought an air fryer a couple of years ago after seeing recipes like these. I think I've used it twice and now it's gathering dust on my counter. Food takes too long to cook, often it has to be done in batches few things ever turn out the way they do in these videos. Total waste of money.

you gotta keep trying because i’ve made such good fried (they all say put in small batches but f it i just throw it all in and it comes out fine), fried chicken, cauliflower buffalo chicken, crispy broccoli, tater tots and about to make this. they have all come out DELICIOUS and in my opinion tasted better without all the grease! keep trying!

You can literally google anything and add the word "cancer" to it and there will be papers on it. Every food increases the risk for some form of cancer, even red meat. My point is you got to pick your poison. Eggs are actually some of the healthier foods as they're loaded up with good proteins and very little fat content. Thus I'd say this is a much healthier version than deep frying the onions
